Brother MFC 465CN Printer Review

The Brother MFC 465CN is a printer sized for a home office that moves a fairly light amount of paper. We look at what it is capable of doing, and how well it does the job. As well, we look at supply costs for ink and savings with combo packs for ink...

Brother MFC-465CN review

The sturdy MFC-465CN has a fax, automatic document feeder and both USB Hi-Speed and 10/100 Ethernet ports.

This is the only wired network printer in this Labs and, with its built-in fax, would suit a small or home office. Its main failing is its slow correspondence-quality document printing. It is also slow in draft mode, and draft quality is mediocre....

Brother MFC-465CN

Interesting design and plenty of features, but it takes an age to produce mediocre results

But improvements in features are not matched when it comes to speed or quality. With a few minor variations, both Brother printers performed similarly in our speed tests – that is, bottom of the pack, with mono text produced at a painful 3.1ppm. And...

Love it

Naturally printer USB cables are not included. I've never understood that... Whenever you purchase other electronics, they all come with necessary cables to operate the gadget, why do printers always come without it??

I have been putting off purchasing a new printer for a while. Especially another inkjet after my experience with lexmark printers. Let me tell ya, this printer really changed my perecption about inkjet printers and their capabilities. I can actually...

pretty heavy compared to most printer in it's class/spec's/price range. The issue becomes irrelevant once you experience it's quality

UPS F@!&!!!!

This printer is a rocket there is hardly any delay of spooling. Some printer models like cannon take forever to print because of the spooling action. But not this baby! Well I know one thing about this printer, just looking at the damaged box it came...

I received the printer today and it's pretty nice. Setup was quick; I have it connected to my router. The software that comes with the printer automatically sets up and configures your Network ports, if you chose to go that route. It came with the...

When UPS arrived I looked at the printers packaging, it was damaged. I was almost tempted to tell UPS to return it, but I really needed the printer. I opened up the box and what do you know? The paper feeder cover clips were damaged. Besides that...

Recertified: Brother MFC series MFC-465CN Up to 30 ppm InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer

Great printer over all great fax and great copy ability with an auto feeder that can copy a multi-page document fast. I will always buy brother and use this printer until it becomes terribly obsolete!

Good quality low priced ink is available

I accidentally open/closed the main body of this unit while it was printing and stripped out some gears? and had to replace the unit. I recommend not doing that

Get this

When I bought this I didn't think I'd care that it can attach to a switch on my network in addition to USB to my PC. But wow, it is so convenient to not have to have a "Printer PC" that has to be on for other computers in the network to be able to print.

Brother printers are where it's at. Their ink is so much cheaper than the competition's. They've got all the features you need. This printer works great with Windows, MacOS, and Linux (thanks to Brother open-sourcing their drivers)

Brother inkjet printers (I've owned several) tend to not last as long as other brands (3 years vs 4-5 years). In then end you do save money even though you have to buy a printer more often because of the ink cost savings
