Brother MFC-8380DN - Mono Laser MFP

Mono lasers are still the best option for high volume printing, as the Brother MFC-8380DN proves.

Although the MFC-8380DN may appear expensive at first sight, Brother has got the mix right and has produced a multifunction with comparatively high speed in both simplex and duplex print and useful extra features, such as duplex copying. Print quality...

Excellent product

Straight forward setup, excellent quality print, copy and scan (did not use fax). Number of buttons (programmable functions) may be intimidating to some. Recommend.

Don't bother

The print quality is not particularly good, no matter what paper you use. Because the heads in the machine and not on the cartridges, the heads get clogged up, and because a user can't access the head, the thing won't print properly even after dozens...

great printer

Great printer for someone who just needs it for home use . Very easy on ink. I had a kodak printer and 2 yrs later it died on me ,never again. This brother printer even uses less ink than the kodak . You won't be dissapointed.

Product Specifications

There are many ways to manage Brother's range of print servers, either use Brother's BRAdmin32 utility; a standard web browser (for printer control and NIC control) or Hewlett Packard's JetAdmin and Web JetAdmin applications - It's easy to manage your Brother network printer. Brother supports a huge range of protocols as standard which can be disabled easily to reduce possible network bandwidth problems. Each Brother print server is supplied with 1Mbyte of Flash memory which can be upgraded easily as new software releases are announced. Brother's BRAdmin32 utility is designed for Windows 95/98 and Windows NT operating systems. It offers total control of the NIC in an easy-to-use interface. IPX/SPX and TCP/IP communications are catered for. For Novell user's, NDS and Bindery queue configuration is just a few clicks away - you can forget Novell's PCONSOLE and NWADMIN applications for printer configuration.
