An excellent product for the money.

I'm shocked to see the low reviews for this product. This is far and away the best machine I have ever had, and very inexpensively priced (contrary to what some reviewers here, for reasons I can't begin to fathom, are saying) for a LASER PRINTER that...

Very good quality in everything it does, and very reasonably priced for a LASER printer that does all these things

Excellent Reliable Low Cost Opperation

I have had this machine for a number of years - Since about 2002). Right after purchase I installed a network card in it - which was a must for me.. The TN460 does up to 6000 copies and costs about $20 (Ebay) The drum unit is also low cost. ... Expand...

Brother printers are mechanically terrible.

2nd Brother printer owned. Both terrible. MFC-9700 failed after ink changes. MFC-490cw was junk as well. Brother needs to focus on quality after 3 weeks of product use.

Printer worked well until first ink change

Broke down after 1st ink change. Poor print quality, service terrible. Installation way too complicated. Do not waste your time or money on Brother products
