Cheap toner ; Color touchscreen LCD ; Wireless networking

Dark scan quality

A 5-inch color touchscreen enhances this small-office or workgroup machine. It's also fast, with cheap toner and Wi-Fi.

Brother MFC-9970CDW

As you would expect, the MFC-9970CDW will let you print and fax from your PC over a network. In addition, front panel commands let you fax, copy, print from or scan to a USB key, and scan to other destinations as well, including directly to email or to...

Fast. Touch screen for easier scanning, faxing, and copying from the front panel. Prints from and scans to USB key. Direct Email

Output quality is a touch below par for graphics and significantly below par for photos

The Brother MFC-9970CDW's output quality is a little disappointing for graphics and photos, but the color laser multifunction printer offers fast speed, high quality text, and lots of features.

Brother MFC-9970cdw Review

Read our full review of the Brother MFC-9970cdw, the flagship model of the MFC-9000 series of multifunction color laser printers!

Quick print speeds ; Ease of use ; USB Direct Print and Scan

Some flaws with fine color prints ; Processing pauses

The MFC-9970cdw is the multifunction version of the HL-4570cdw and so it shares many of the same qualities: quick print speeds, overall good print quality, and unique features. But it can take businesses to the next level with the addition of a useful...

It's a 1-stop shop as advertised.

No problems after 1 year. Color prints slightly darker than on screen. Paid about $900 a year ago. Overall good copier/printer/fax/scanner.

Scans in color. Good quality color copies/prints

Should have a room to itself. Is VERY smelly, gives off a LOT of fumes. First page to come out when copying is S.L.O.W. But speeds up after that

Best and cheapest printer in its class

Probably the only color laser MFC which has Duplex scanning (duplex printing is common one) with dual scanner (no page flipping required)

Clean Replacement","Duplex Scanning

Dull Tones & Colors","Quality Can Be Lil Better

GET THIS!!!! - nuff said!

Rock solid performance and very nice image quality. Many options for networking and WiFi printing. Toner cost is not bad for the number of copies you get.

I bought this product for an inexpensive way to print marketing material, and it has exceeded my expectations. The speed, price per page and quality of printing make this the best printer for it's price point.

Poor Wireless, Mediocre Print Quality

All in all, friendly customer support is no replacement for a wireless printer that disconnects often and prints rather poorly.

It prints stacks of envelopes like a beast

After speaking with Brother support numerous times, the wireless setup still drops even in Ad-hoc mode (not connected to my router). I was told this would prove the machine is faulty and thus we could get it repaired, but being able to connect...
