Output quality is a touch below par for graphics and significantly below par for photos

The Brother MFC-9970CDW's output quality is a little disappointing for graphics and photos, but the color laser multifunction printer offers fast speed, high quality text, and lots of features.

It's a 1-stop shop as advertised.

 

No problems after 1 year. Color prints slightly darker than on screen. Paid about $900 a year ago. Overall good copier/printer/fax/scanner.

Scans in color. Good quality color copies/prints

Should have a room to itself. Is VERY smelly, gives off a LOT of fumes. First page to come out when copying is S.L.O.W. But speeds up after that

This machine is quite possibly the best small office solution for everything. The duplex scan is amazingly fast, rarely ever jams, prints in very high quality and also fast, the wireless is really easy to set up, i could go on about everything like...

the brother mfc-9970cdw is a very good machine. best feature for me is printing on both sides automatically. very good printouts. downside is it uses too much toner - and the toner is not cheap. i guess this is the same for all color lasers. scanning...
