Brother MFC-J5910DW Review

Printers are a need for every office and an all-in-one functionality printer is preferred because it offers space and power saving features. Brother International has been in the market for a long time now and offers a range of printers varying from...

The printer has a monthly duty cycle of 7,000 pages. Consumables packaged with the product are four starter cartridges, which can yield around 600 pages. Each cartridge costs around Rs. 435, which calculates the print economy to be at Rs 0.70 for B/W...

Brother MFC-J5910DW

The key difference between the MFC-J5910DW and the Brother MFC-J6510DW is the paper size they can scan. The MFC-J5910DW is limited to scanning up to legal size, rather than tabloid size. The smaller flatbed lets the printer itself be smaller, at 10.2...

Prints at up to tabloid size (11 by 17 inches). Scans, copies, and faxes. Automatic document feeder. Duplex printing

Only one paper tray, so you can't keep letter and tabloid size paper loaded at the same time

The Brother MFC-J5910DW prints at tabloid size, scans and faxes even over a network, works as a standalone copier and fax machine, and is both cheap to buy and cheap to run.

Brother MFC-J5910DW

Some makers of all-in-one (AIO) inkjet printers excel in certain niches. Canon, for example, makes great photo-centric AIOs. Brother, on the other hand, engineers great business-centric models that provide many of the productivity and convenience...

Prints oversize sheets up to 11x17 inches ; Relatively low cost of ink ; Good-looking business-document output

Poor photograph printing and copying ; Scan and copy times slightly slower than average ; Small LCD

The MFC-J5910DW prints ledger-size (11x17-inch) pages for a great price, and it prints good-looking business documents. It struggles, however, when printing and copying photographs.

Not impressed

Great scanner. High speed copier

Colors appear washed out. Too many steps to get colors right. Paper jams too often. Could not clear error without removing power from the device. No manual feed. Have to remove all paper to print 1 envelope

Works for everything. Can't get scanning down

I have tried all functions and all work. I just am not sure how to scan to file and can't seem to fine where my scan went?!

Excellent Machine Except for Duplex Printing

I like this machine a lot better than the one that it replaced. The images on paper are flawless reproductions of the images on the computer monitor. The finished color copies that this machine produces are very realistic with regard to color...

SO SO

For the limited time that I have owned my machine is seems very acceptable. except.......The construction is too bulky. It takes up most of the limited space we have in our computer rooms or corners of our extra room. If it was half the size it to be a...

Issues with paper jamming

I like the printer but do have several issues: 1: Biggest complaint is it easily jams. This is especially true with heavier paper like photo paper. Fanning the paper helps but can still jam. 2: After a paper jam you lose the page. It does not reprint...

Brother MFC-9125CN - Digital Color All-in-One With Fax and Networking

Reviewing this for what it is, a home office or small business network color MFC, it's a very good, reliable printer. Are the toner cartridges smaller, yes, but it's a small color MFC! I've owned it for 2+ years and haven't had a single issue. It...
