Brother MFC-J6510DW

Probably the single most attention-grabbing fact about the Brother MFC-J6510DW ($250 street) is how much it delivers for the price. One of only a few inkjet printers that can print at up to tabloid size (11 by 17 inches), it's also one of the most...

Prints and scans at up to tabloid size (11 by 17 inches). Automatic document feeder. Duplex (two-sided) printing

Only one paper tray means you can't keep letter- and tabloid-size paper loaded at the same time

In addition to both printing and scanning at up to tabloid size, the Brother MFC-J6510DW faxes over a network and works as a standalone copier and fax machine.

2 purchased; neither works correctly; awful support

Bought 2 of these in Jan., 2011 to be the primary all-in-ones for two of our offices, one in NC, one in SC. NC one worked ok for a few months (although it badly wrinkled all envelopes, which was frustrating), then started jamming non-stop. Could not...

Printed nicely while it worked

1 never worked quite right ; 1 broke completely after a few months ; customer support has completely failed ; been without a printer for TEN DAYS now ; even when the 1 machine worked for a while, it wrinkled envelopes badly

so far so good

This product was very easy to set up. No problems with installation on any of the computer systems including Windows 8. Does an excellent job of giving a choice of printing functions. This is the first copier that actually accomodates 11x17" paper with...

Brother MFC-J6510DW

Machine is a good buy. Only printer that I can afford that will print my mechanical drawings on one sheet of paper. Only "problems" that I have with it are that it won't copy/fax duplex - just one side at a time - and doesn't have a second paper...

MFC-J6510DW

I bought it because I wanted a wireless device. It was easy to link up to my router and two computers. I only print a few pages per week. The only flaw I've noticed is that at times it may try to pull more than one piece of paper through at one time...

Burns through ink like you wouldn't believe

Got this printer about 6 months ago and have spent more money on ink than on the printer itself.

prints nicely

uses way too much ink

Avoid!

This thing is nothing but a headache. 1. I have to unplug it after each page because it thinks there is a paper jam, even though there isn't one at all. 2. It uses the color cartridges to print black. I assumed that there is a way to set it to only...
