Great printer

Brother is definitely doing something right.

Great printer for the price. It prints great, Ink is reasonably priced and was very easy to install. In the couple of months that I have been using it it has already surpassed my previous printer that was more expensive due to being name brand (two...

Great all around printer

Set up as "Fast Print" by default to conserve ink, Black ink is 50% larger than colour. Ink loads from front of machine, which makes this easy to install when in a kitchen cabinet. Wi-Fi set up fast, found the network quickly.

Easy setup, works with IOS, Android and Windows XP up to Windows 8.1 (32 and 64 bit). Cheap aftermarket ink available from many sources. Wi-Fi at 3 bars. Duplex printing is a big plus. Print quality is better than expected from such a low cost printer

Doesn't have NFC, which Brother IPrint&Scan app defaults to. Easy to switch to Wi-Fi print however. Starter ink isn't great. Brother Ink is VERY costly, but many aftermarket options. The 103 XL ink is the way to go

Great Printer

I also found cheap CHEAP, ink cartridges from on the internet. Will not let me link to it though.

EASY to set up. Worked in just a few minutes WIRELESS. All I did was plug it up to the electrical outlet for power, and followed a few prompt on screen steps and it was up and running ; It also has a free app for your phone and printing from my phone...

Great features for the price

There is no need for a USB cable as others have complained about, the Wifi connection/setup was super easy

Duplex printing, works over wifi, easy set up

A little bulky, but features probably would have to be sacrificed to make it smaller

Brothers & Chips

The counter chip will NOT make it so you CAN'T print, just make it very annoying (have to clear annoying message from screen after EVERY page when counter hits threshold). Still a shame in a world screaming for sustainability to market something like...

Great printer, easy to set up, fantastic quality you have come to expect from BROTHER

Uses newer version of BROTHER's 'Control Center', version 4 - This is not backwards compatible as you would think it would be with other BROTHER printers using older control centers. What this means for you, is that if you like using this software, and...
