Very Good

Printing direct from the keyboard is both flexible and easy to accomplish. Printing from software is also easy and flexible. There are software plug-ins for Outlook to allow printing address labels without having to enter the information. There are two...

Does what its supposed to do. Software is good and is very helpful. Software also saves tape compared to using it as a direct entry labeler. The variety of sizes, types, and styles of label tape make this one of the more flexible of the label printers...

Tape is fairly expensive

Nice

I havn't used the software yet. Maybe this will come in handy.

It does center alignment and bigger letters than the lower models of printers. Got to love the auto cut feature

Great Label Printer

Download the latest version of the P-Touch Editor software from Brother. Excellent product. Very happy with my purchase. I read the reviews on Newegg and other sites before buying this model. Based on the reviews, I was expecting a good, but not...

I didn't realize this from the product info or from other reviews before my purchase, but when hooked up to a computer, you can use any font that is on your computer. You are not limited to the built-in fonts. You can also use your own graphics images...

Wastes a little bit a label when cutting, but there are options here to minimize the waste (read the manual) ; Label refills are expensive

Solid Labeler

The guy who wrote that you can't print without leaving 1 inch margins is both exaggerating and hasn't bothered to figure out that you absolutely CAN print more economically both from manual typing and using the software. It's called "Chain Printing"...

Having the software (and newly updated for mac) makes this worth buying. You can do so much more if you hook this up to your computer. More fonts, Adding images, stretching text. You name it...it serves as a pretty decent text editor. And the recent...

Print resolution is only average, leaving somewhat blocky text if you look closely enough

PT-2700 DESKTOP LABELER USB 10MM/SEC 1IN 8X AA/AC ADAPT INCL

I like this product. It fits my needs.

Many useful features. Can be connected to a computer via USB.

Bigger than I had hoped. Needs a lot of batteries to run without being plugged in. Tapes are very expensive.

Piece of Junk

Brother's professional labeler PT-9600 offers 2-times better resolution for 3-times the price. You also get the same bloated margins.

Does the job if you don't mind jagged fonts nor expect the print quality that approaches your PC printer ; Do expect to pay almost as much, though

Here is the deal killer ; As if the high-priced tape cartridges were not enough (remember those razors for free and their blades for an arm-and-a leg?), the printer always leaves blank one-inch margins on both sides of the text. The margins cannot be...

Excellent Label Maker

I actually owned an older model which works flawlessly.

Brother needs to lower their prices on the tape cartridges for us to buy more in bulk.

Excellent Label Maker

This is actually an excellent label maker for both home and office. I downloaded the latest software and it works well with it. Between the $20 price difference between the PT-1950 and PT-2700 the latter is well worth the extra expense.

I actually owned an older model which works flawlessly. I needed a new label maker with a USB connection so I picked this model. I was going to get the Brother P-Touch 1950 but the PT-2700 is def worth the extra money. Bigger and much easier to read...

Love this product!

My kids use this for school work, like making posters and labels for diaramas. Using labels on 4-h projects. Also use for canning labels. I loved mine so much I also purchased one for my Father to use in his nursery(trees, shrubs, etc.). We love the...
