For the craftsman who loves to make big, beautiful, prints - the Canon Pro9000 Mark II is the tool you are looking for

I'll jump right into this review with my impressions upon seeing the first 13"x19" print come out of the Pro9000 Mark II, WOW! And I don't just mean the model when I say that. The print was gorgeous too! I'm not going to take much space here to cover...

Canon Pixma Pro9000 Mark II review

A speedy colour specialist that's easy to install

Very fast and can't be matched for colour print quality on glossy paper

Relatively poor black-and-white

Expensive but solidly built – a fast way to get superbly vibrant A3 prints.

Breathtaking photo quality and good running costs make this a superb tool for pros.

Great Printer 7 Stars woul;d be a 10 but NO NETWORK Connection!!!

Going to get a Pixma 9500 Mark II just to see what king of B&W pictures it will do.

Get it set up correctly and it prints amazing photos beter than the photo lab. Printed full page prints and the ink has not moved. If you find something wrong with the print quality your most likley the problem

No network connection. For the cost and the name "pro" you whould think this would be included. For that reason I am calling it semi-pro but I will not take off an egg because the quality is just that good

Great Doorstop

They were 'sorry' about the problem.

Looks really nice on my desk

DOA and Canon cannont ensure that a replacement will be 'new'. Just spent $450 and I am going to have a factory refurb. Not acceptable. Paper refuses to feed. Have been on the phone for over an hour with Canon Tech support

Initial review PIXMA Pro 9000 Mark II

I've only had this a day. It replaced an Epson 1400 that was wasting 3 out of 4 photos with ink drops.

Sturdy, well built, easy setup and software install with WIN 7, 64-Bit. Prints nice photos

Haven't found any yet

Source for oversize cheap paper

If you are printing anything that may be exposed to spills or rain, overspray it with an art sealer to reduce damage. Krylon makes various products. The HP inks were more water resistant after drying post-print. These appear to be more susceptible to...

I finally have found sources of relatively cheap paper to take advantage of the oversize capabilities of the printer ; Look for PACON brand construction papers 12"x18" online. Cream colored - good for targets and misc wide format printing. Cheap ; Exam...

Newegg doesn't sell 24x36" or 14"x23" paper -yet ; Ink is expensive and when you start printing this big you're going to use a lot more if you print in detail

Awesome printer!

Newegg does it again! Great price, service and support! The printer arrived and the first print was a 13x19 photo on museum paper. The first word out my mouth was Wow! Get this prihter...you won't regret it. And get it from Newegg!

Quality of build and printing. Pricing per print. Outstanding technical support from Canon

It is big but what printer that handles 13"x19" isn't

A GREAT Printer but get the warranty

I bought the Mark II because I was highly pleased with the print quality of its predecessor, but it was getting worn out, and had a few premature aging problems. This time I purchased the two-year warranty ; Print quality is superb, as was expected

No Mail-in rebate information has been received to date. No warranty has been received to date ; The install went OK until it got to the registration page. It couldn't connect to Canon. Still working on that
