Canon Pixma MG5420 Wireless Photo All-In-One Printer

The Canon Pixma MG5420 Wireless Photo All-In-One Printer offers surprisingly good text quality for an inkjet MFP.

Above-par output quality for text and photos. Duplex (two-sided) printing. Prints on optical discs. Wi-Fi.

No wired network support. No automatic document feeder. No fax.

Canon MG5420

A mid-range multifunction, the MG5420 punches a bit above its weight class.

Canon Pixma MG5420 Wireless Photo All-in-One Printer Review and Ratings

Top-notch print quality, dual paper trays, duplex printing, and Wi-Fi connectivity make this photo-friendly AIO an excellent bargain for families and students.

Excellent print quality ; Dual paper trays ; Supports duplex and CD/DVD printing ; Compact design ; Smartphone and tablet compatibility

Slower-than-average print speeds ; Limited-capacity output tray ; No Ethernet port

The Canon Pixma MG5420 is an excellent bargain, though it isn’t perfect. The speeds are somewhat slower than average when printing documents onto plain paper. The output tray capacity is skimpy at just 50 sheets. And there’s no Ethernet port, which may...

Just what I needed

Cheap ink works just fine 4/5 times, but it has 5 tanks >.> If you just need to print a few things from time to time this is a good choice, may want to look at something bigger if you need volume.

Simple to set up, ink is cheap/lasts a long time (at least for the price)

Wireless only. Not a problem for me, but thought I'd mention it.

Worst Printer I've Had

Printer worked GREAT for 1 month....then 2 months came in, it kept not working, I ran troubleshooting and it worked for 1 day afterwards....Then not work again. I essentially had to run trouble shooting for a few months until I had enough.

Great Printer when it works!

Broke 3 months in

Incapable of feeding paper through

I was extremely mislead reading the reviews on here and other information about this printer. I bought it because I am a poor college student who can only afford so much, but needs a printer. The reviews here are, for the most part, amazing so I...

Cannon

I can use anything that is wireless, phone, tablet, desktop/laptop. I love this feature! It prints nice, pictures look great

The only thing I don't like about it is that I have to put everything in a PDF file. Extra steps that I don't want to take and that seems not needed
