Canon i-SENSYS MF4890dw

Canon's i-SENSYS MF4890dw is a compact mono laser all-in-one with wireless connection and full duplex print, copy and scan.

Dedicated scan and copy functions ; Paper tray cover ; Clear controls

Annoying wake-up button ; No XL cartridge option ; Poor driver interface

The printer driver has some quirks. For example, setting toner-save mode isn’t a single-click affair, but is found under the Quality tab, where you have to select Advanced Settings, pick Toner Save from a list and then select On from a drop-down menu....

Canon i-SENSYS MF4890dw review

Canon's latest i-SENSYS MF4890dw is a compact multifunction mono laser printer with a good stack of features. Styled in ubiquitous cream and black, this is a lightweight printer (13.4kg) that won't take up much space on a work surface, measuring just...

Canon seems to have hit a target with its new compact MFP mono laser printer as it combines a broad range of features with fast speeds, good print quality, if unexceptional running costs.

Canon i-Sensys MF4890dw review

Canon's i-Sensys MF4890dw is a compact multifunction printer (MFP) aimed at home and small offices. It isn't the cheapest printer of its type, but it's more highly specified than entry-level rivals, and lets you print, scan, copy documents and send...

A smart mono laser MFP for the small office, but it could be cheaper to run

Decent printer but they definitely skimped

For the price this a decent all-in-one. I've faxed, printed, and scanned with it. It does all of those tasks well for the price. Quick wakeup and quick first page print

They really went cheap on a few parts here. Most notably the paper output tray. It's a little fold out plastic flap that looks like a strong breeze will snap off. Without the flap extended, printed pages just float right out and fall to the table....

Excellent All-in-one printer

Excellent printer for the money. Setup was easy and it worked the first time. Printing is quick and has high quality output. Scanning is excellent and colors are very accurate. Free shipping from J&R was faster than I expected and it arrived in good...

Fast, Good Quality Copies and Easy to Set Up

I print a lot of black and white documents at home and always owned an inkjet printer. I tired of replacing the ink cartridges so frequently and decided to splurge on a laser printer. I was concerned about how it would interface with my mac and PC but...

Copies easily and quickly from my Mac and PC, and it comes with a paper instruction booklet

So far, nothing about the printer disappoints me

Affordable, excellent laser multi-function

I had another Canon multi-function the MF4350. Loved it but it didn't have duplex scanning. So I decided to upgrade. The 4390dw also adds wireless connectivity and an Ethernet port. It's really awesome overall. Easily to set up - just plug in the...
