Canon Pixma MX452 Wireless Office All-In-One Printer

The Canon Pixma MX452 Wireless Office All-In-One Printer can serve in the dual role of home and home office MFP or as a personal MFP in any size office.

Prints and faxes from, as well as scans to, a PC. Standalone copier and fax. Automatic document feeder. Wi-Fi

No wired network support. Slow

As its name implies, the Canon Pixma MX452 Wireless Office All-In-One Printer is one of a relatively few multifunction printers (MFPs) in its price range designed more for office, rather than home, needs. The focus shows up in office-centric features...

Good, but Loud

I have not yet scanned anything aside from a photocopy. I assume from "scanner" being in the tech description than I can scan a physical photo/handout and digitize it to a file on my computer. I probably won't end up using the fax feature.

Easy wireless connectivity. Following the poster-sized instructions which came with the printer, the WPS connection to our router took half a minute ; Fast Printing with good color ; Simple Ink cartridges. Instead of 3 different color cartridges, there...

Loud. This printer is replacing the our previous, 5-year-old Cannon InkJet printer. The moving pieces in this printer are extraordinarily noticeably louder than our previous model. The whole unit sounds loud, clumsy, and hollow in contrast to the...

Works Well

Works well for the price. Scans clearly, prints quickly... goes through ink a little fast, but it's not expensive ink either. Easy to set up with my router, looks nice.

Don't Buy!

Canon should discontinue this printer or not sell it as wireless. I have had to reinstall the print driver so many times it's stupid. Wireless printing works when it wants to. Even after reinstalling the software it doesn't work, then magically days...

Don't Buy!

Don't Buy! Too much of a headache. Wireless does not always work. Print line not straight. Paper jams. Loses connection too often. Pain.

ink sensor

Printer consistently reports "out of ink" when it's not. It's a real pain to reset. Very annoying.

Not a good buy

always having problems. have never been able to use the fax. Ink cartridges way too expensive. I buy the xl, can't tell the difference compared to the reg. Margins change when printing documents wirelessly. Had a cannon camera I used for years, great...

this unit is the worst ptinter I have ever bought

This printer consistently misreads paper and will not feed. I am seriously frustrated with it's performance... nothing I do seems to make a difference in how the paper feeds...message out of paper is the standard all the time

Super Printer!

Bought this to replace my MX870 that I loved. Setup was so easy on my Mac, almost automatic! Works fantastic, scans pictures great! Network just set itself up. Nothing to it. I'm running OS X 10.6.8 on my Mac Pro 1,1. Only "Con" is the ink is expensive.

Stops in Middle of Job

Several times I've started a 20-25 page 2-sided print job and the printer stopped, either after completing the first sides, or in the middle of printing the second sides. What a headache, especially when in a hurry. Sometimes takes 20 minutes to start,...
