Review: Canon Pixma MX922 has great small-office features and pricey ink

For a moderate-volume small or home office the Pixma MX922 shines, but its ink prices are a little higher than average.

Automatic duplex printing and scanning ; Nice output quality

Control panel design can be confusing ; Inks are a little pricier than average

Canon Pixma MX922 Wireless Office All-In-One Printer

The Canon Pixma MX922 Wireless Office All-In-One Printer more than makes up for its slow speed for business applications with its output quality and MFP features.

Prints, faxes, scans, copies. Prints on discs. Automatic document feeder. Ethernet. Wi-Fi

Slow

A close cousin to the Canon Pixma MX522 Wireless Office All-In-One Printer, the Canon Pixma MX922 Wireless Office All-In-One Printer offers all the features that makes the MX522 worth considering, plus enough extra—including better photo quality, the...

Great Printer/Terrible Software

Great printer, and I love that it's airprint compatible. But..... the scanning software is aweful. The software for the older MX880 was far better.

Great Printer

Scanning software very cumbersome, and not at all flexible

Overall good but average...

I think it did ok for what I put it through. As I mentioned, I don't think it's supposed to be used in a busy workplace environment, and I suppose I prematurely wore it out. My 850 at home has been going strong for over 4 years now, and I like it...

I've always been a fan of Canon's products. Set up is simple for USB or on your network. Instructions are fairly well laid out, and if you've had a PC for awhile and can run the basics, you shouldn't have any troubles. Some of the software that it...

It is now dead, BER (Beyond Economical Repair) after 20 months or so. It will no longer feed itself paper from the tray...just makes a loud slipping/clicking sound. I took it apart and I think there's a stripped plastic gear in a place where I can only...

Good Scanner

It works fine with a wired network connection, but for some reason, very possibly my particular access point, it won't "connect" with my computers when I try to use its wireless feature. My router and my access point are two different devices. No one...

Easy to install and use software, scans well

I am unable to get it to work with my (Ubiquiti) wireless access point

Great printer

I wish this had a larger paper tray, and the option to buy larger ink cartridges.

Above average print quality, great at scanning, easy to use interface. Easy to setup and install. I guess you could say that about a lot of printers, I bought this as part of a Canon solution, with the android app, I can wifi directly to this printer,...

Not the cheapest, requires a wifi router. (is that really a con?) Ink catridges are smaller than HP, so I have to change them more frequently (but they are slightly cheaper, so cost is about the same)
