Canon Pixma iP8500

Duplex printing; extended color gamut; easy to operate; relatively fast; Mac compatible.

No media-card slots; no network support; colors occasionally too vivid.

A relatively fast photo printer that produces excellent photo and graphics output.

Canon Pixma iP8500 Photo Printer

The Canon Pixma iP8500 focuses on fast, high-quality photos.

Impressively fast, high-quality photos. Separate cartridge for each ink color. Prints directly from PictBridge cameras.

No memory card slots. Text/graphics quality and speed are good but not in the same league as photo quality and speed.

Good

I totally love it! {And I would honestly expect that so will you!} It looks great, functions well and the supplied software is very easy to use.

The photo realistic prints and the speed. The borderless prints are great. It looks stylish and has multiple feeds and options for printing. The associated software is very functional.

Cost of the unit was a tad high but it was within my target cost.
