D1150 - Awesome Small Biz Printer

 

My last Canon - the D750 had to be retired when Windows 7.0 ended up on my new computer. It was a great multifunction printer as well and I was merely looking for a replacement for that machine. Happy as I can be with both.

Full featured multi-function - good speed easy user interface - fax, scanning, copying - printing - perfect for a small business that doesn't have a network set up. I am an attorney and use it for court documents. Meets all of my needs handsomely

No network scanning

 

It's a network printer/fax and copier, it works

It will NOT do network scanning of any kind. It will only scan via USB. For a unit that costs this much they should include the option to scan to e-mail or a network share in the firmware. You need the D1170 model to be able to have a true network "all...

Pros:Great price, good speed, easy to install.Con:The printer does not automatically detect the size of the paper in the main paper tray, so it can be frustrating if you switch between letter and legal size on a regular basis.

Excellent quality ikn performance & coinstruction. Only problem is in printing mailing #10 envelopes with addresses & stamps with Stamps.com software.

Not a Bad Machine

 

The printing is excellent. But it's difficult to use the front door for printing, you have to set it up from the computer. Copying is fantastic. It's great for double sided copying. It's not as user friendly as I'd hoped it would be.

Excellent Machine

 

As a heavy user, I print documents daily and find this to be a very reliable printer. The fax quality is very good both in send and receiving. Copier and scanner are of good quality as well.
