High quality output, particularly for text. Reasonably fast. Small size. Duplexer for printing on both sides of a page

No automatic document feeder. No fax. No network support

The Canon imageClass D420 is a little pricy for what it delivers, but it offers an attractive balance of speed, output quality, paper handling, and features for a personal MFP.

Now, when I travel or don't print for a long time, it just works. No hassle with dried printer heads and all sorts of maintenance procedures to get started up again. It's quiet and the output is sharp and more than sufficient for anything I want

No WiFi. I can live with it, but that would have been a nice-to-have
