Canon imageClass MF4370dn

The Canon imageClass MF4370dn combines fast print speed, high-quality output, and a full set of AIO features.

Fast. Prints, scans, faxes from PC over a network. Standalone copier and fax. Automatic Document Feeder. Duplex printing.

Oddball approach to scanning requires pressing scan button on the printer, then giving a scan command from the computer.

Canon ImageCLASS MF 4370dn

This MFD from Canon comes with all the necessary features like print, copy, fax and scan required for a typical small office. The feature that stands out from other similar MFDs reviewed in the past issues is that, MF 4370dn comes ready with iPv6...

This printer scores high on both performance and feature making it a good buy for small office, and workgroups

Hardware Good, Software Bad

Seems some people think if it does not cost a lot it is ok for some of it not to work, not my theory. I expect all of it to work in an acceptable manner but not be able to stand up to heavy use. Also if the snmp is turned off the software setup will...

Hardware seems good for the moderate use I normally do. Knowledge that the people who wrote the software & drivers were taken to the ER for laughing fits when the software was approved for customer use

Web interface missing field to set time and it also displays the machine as model other than a 4370 as do some of the drivers. The sheet feed does skew sometimes but it is the one I have had yet my 3rd low price machine. Sent support a question and...

Decent All in one at an affordable price

I would have given 5 eggs. The power cord issue sometimes can be annoying. You have to plug it into the unit at a very limited angle and it is very loose.

Print speed, print quality, copy speed, copy quality, style, price

Network scanning is somewhat awkward. The power cord must stay very still otherwise it will come loose very easily causing the unit to go off. Canon could definitely improve the software

Best In Class

Not much else to say other than it seems Canon > HP Laser printers for the price.

Quick print from sleep mode, 23 PPM, high quality, starter toner included, high quality for price. Scan, copies, faxes (dinosaur tech)

USB and network cable not included but a RJ45 included (?!?!?)

Can't beat it for the price

My wife works from home (medical billing) & I purchased this for her home office. I caught it on sale for $149.00 and I am very satisfied, as is she. It prints, copies, scans & faxes. It's not loud and the print quality is very good, prints fast

I have noticed that when using the auto feeder, the sheets do not always feed in exactly straight and this results in a slightly crooked image. However, this isn't a $800 - $2000 unit either

Wish the scans were better

Not sure how to get higher scan resolution than 600 dpi like the box advertised. Need CD to install driver for shared printing. All in all, the best value for those looking for a sheet fed scanner and fax machine. With aftermarket tonor it is cheap...

Reasonable price after rebate. $30 toner from tonerinstock.com. Cool duplex printing but not scanning. It scans and faxes. Flatbed scans are fast. It doesn't need ink to scan like many non-laser units

As I was warned the sheet feeder yields crooked scans. The scan interface is quirky and the default settings are not as nice as the Brother MFC240C it replaced. Noisy. Network scanning limited to 300 dpi - use USB scanning for 600 dpi

Pretty Good

It does exactly what I want except when I disconnect the printer and plug it back in, sometimes the printer is not recognized. I just need to turn off the printer, turn it back on without the USB plugged in, then plug in the USB and it works.

Looks nice ; Good Features ; Priced Right ; Can print double sided ; All In One ; Energy Star

None really for me, it is just what I needed

NOT complete Duplexing!!

newegg needs to have a return policy for these. o wells my mistake.

inexpensive

i bought this thinking of it actually does everything. mainly duplexing. well it does do duplexing but only prints double sided, NOT COPY double sided. The D480 does it all but it was out of stock. I am just bummed cause i really wanted this feature,...
