Canon ImageClass MF5700 review: Canon ImageClass MF5700

Fine text quality; easy to use; good software; very good tech support.

Copies and scans slowly; limited expansion options; expensive toner; no Mac or Linux support.

The Canon ImageClass MF5750 offers all the basics in a competent, affordable package.

For those who don't need to print in color and want laser speed from their AIO, the Canon imageClass MF5770 ($500 street) offers just about everything a small office or a busy home office needs in a monochrome laser AIO. We say just about everything,...

Fast performance. Excellent text and good graphics quality. 50-page automatic document feeder. Works as standalone copier and fax machine. Faxes from PC

Scans over USB connection only. Photo quality barely earns a rating of fair

Excellent AIO

I don't understand the issues everyone is having. We use it in a small office enviorment and it has been a dream. No problems with network printing and works beautifully with vista machines. People should read instructions.

With this printer you get so much for the price. Cheap, efficient, and quite. FAST! We send out and receive many faxes, and the ability to send faxes and at the same time copy is awesome

Lack of Mac Drivers. No Duplexing

P o S

DO NOT BUY THIS - IT IS A PIECE OF TRASH. This item has been a source of endless headaches since I got it - I am buying another printer and taking a sledgehammer to it, because it broke when I CHANGED THE PAPER and now will not print. It never printed...

It has a scanner. And it's a laser printer - kind of

Huge, loud, inefficient, incompatible with Vista, poor quality print, slow document feeder, works sometimes at best and when it does it does not function properly for long, jams constantly, a source of endless frustration

Pretty sad product

I haven't had it long enough to know what else is wrong with it. Until now I had a lot of respect for Canon products. I am returning it for something better from another manufacturer

On the surface it's a great deal

1) It is very bulky ; 2) It is quite noisy and makes a lot of clunks and whirring noises, sometimes for no apparent reason ; 3) If you print a large document, after every tenth page it makes an irritating beeping noise and stops until you remove what...
