Canon continues its lineage of successful Pixma portable inkjet printers with the iP100, an upgrade from last year's iP90v. This time around, Canon increased the number of ink nozzles and doubled the maximum resolution to 4,800x1,200 dpi color. As a ...

High-resolution ink nozzles produce excellent prints ; significant speed improvements over previous model ; retains familiar design
No Wi-Fi or carrying case options ; lacks integrated media card reader ; high price tag relative to those of desktop printers
It isn't cheap compared to standard printers, but the Canon Pixma iP100 has the highest resolution available in the mobile printer market and prints at an impressive speed to boot. If you simply must have a printer with you at all times, the iP100 ...

In the Pixma iP100 Photo Printer, Canon's latest version of its mobile printer, Canon makes surprisingly few compromises for the sake of portability.
Portable. Fast. Prints directly from PictBridge Cameras. Bluetooth, rechargeable battery, and car adapter options.

Remarkably fast. Print quality's excellent--even for photos (not pro photo quality, but v. nice). Lightweight, folds into a neat rectangle & adapter isn't cumbersome. Easy setup. New models have wi-fi (I haven't tried it yet). Really impressive

Compact prints clean and fast and I paid only $149.00 at Best Buy not an open box Brand! Spankin! New! It goes well with Sony VAIO VGN-NR98E I bought backin October for $425 at the same store

I thought i would share my results with you all. I have a Motorola PC850 bluetooth dongle running my ip100 which before now essentially had no purpose since upgrading to vista blew that out the window
Must have canons bluetooth set up with dongle and usb to initiate first registration for proper bluetooth communication. As I remember just pairing the printer by windows bluetooth caused a no connection error
The rugged, compact iP100 Mobile Printer delivers remarkable quality and print-anywhere portability. Its patented print head technology and 5-color ink system let you create spectacular photos with 9600 x 2400 color dpi resolution (maximum). A photo lab quality 4" x 6" borderless print takes only about 55 seconds. It offers IrDA compatibility and an optional BU-20 Bluetooth interface, so you can print wirelessly from a PC, PDA or camera phone. Or, connect a digital camera and print photos...
