Canon PIXMA iP1000

The PIXMA iP1000 is probably as good as a sub-$100 printer is going to get.

Affordable ; Reasonable print quality ; Lightweight

No output tray ; Loud and noisy ; Flimsy plastic construction ; Banding across photo prints ; Slight dithering visible

Owned this printer for about 5 years. If you are looking for inexpensive printing, I don't think you could find a printer better than this one. Don't be afraid to fine tune this printer for the look you want. I think the ink is set on med. when it...

Canon PIXMA iP1000

Fast printing, always accurate and vibrant colours (even with non-original inks purchased on ebay for $2 per cartdrige). Software is well-rounded and has many cool features like booklet printing etc.

very noisy. as the review states, there are no noise dampers. its quite a racket, but hey, its under $100, ink is cheap, quality is excellent so im not gonna complain.
