Canon Pixma iP6000D Photo Printer

The Canon Pixma iP6000 photo printer is best reserved for photos, which it prints quickly and at very good quality.

Direct printing from memory cards and cameras. 2.5-inch LCD for previewing and editing photos. Reasonably fast performance and very good quality for photos.

Slow performance for business applications. Graphics suffer from extreme paper curl.

PC Plus review: Canon PIXMA iP6000D

In our tests, full A4 photos printed in under a minute and, if you drop the quality setting a touch, the iP6000R will even manage two complete A4 prints in under 60 seconds, still with stunning picture quality. Overall, it's a brilliant piece of kit.

The iP6000D is the only model in the PIXMA range that continues to offer the full range of direct-printing options. Find out what else is new.

Canon Pixma iP5000 and iP6000D

The new Pixma range from Canon breaks the mould in inkjet printer design, with a spare -- almost bare -- 'bread box' design which occupies minimal space on the desktop and is very comtemporary-looking. We looked at two models, the ip5000 and the...

Not that great

I bought this printer as a gift and after comparing it to my HP all in one, I'll be returning it. The colors are great but the pictures are just not very sharp. They're actually pixellated a little. I love my Canon camera, but after two different Canon...

Good

Great for the buy, Prints quickly and has a good cassett for paper storage, but when I got it, the cover's piece of plastic that presses the cover button wasn't long enough, so the printer would think the cover was open when it was closed, cuz the...
