Canon Pixma MG3220

Editors' note: This review cannibalizes content from CNET's review of the Pixma MG2220 , a printer with many of the same features.

The Canon Pixma MG3220 has Apple AirPlay wireless compatibility that eliminates installation speed bumps, and Canon's versatile imaging software to help you edit and organize your snapshot photos before printing.

Depending on your output frequency, the two-cartridge ink bay could boost the overall cost of ownership.

Boasting Apple AirPrint, automatic double-sided printing, and impressive performance for the price, the Canon Pixma MG3200 is a fine choice for shoppers looking for an inexpensive printer.

Canon Pixma MG3220 Wireless Inkjet Photo All-in-One

The Canon Pixma MG3220 Wireless Inkjet Photo All-in-One is a home multi-function printer (MFP) with a bargain-basement price and a few goodies like WiFi connectivity and an automatic duplexer for printing on both sides of a sheet of paper. However,...

Prints, scans, and copies. Low price. Auto-duplexer. WiFi

Primitive 1-character display. Slow printing speed. Sub-par photo and graphics quality

The Canon Pixma MG3220 Wireless Inkjet Photo All-in-One offers WiFi connectivity and an auto-duplexer, but is otherwise what you might expect from a bargain-priced MFP.

Canon Pixma MG3220

Sometimes, attempting to save money can wind up costing you more in the end. This is especially true of entry-level inkjet all-in-one (AIO) printers for printing, copying, and scanning documents and photographs. Buying the wrong machine can cost you...

Good-looking prints, copies, and scans ; Low purchase price ; Face recognition in My Image Garden works well

Slow printing ; No ADF ; High cost per page ; Two-cartridge system can waste ink

While this entry-level photo printer's purchase price is attractive—and its output is, too—its sluggish print speeds and high cost per page reduce its overall value.

Canon PIXMA MG3220

The Canon PIXMA MG3220 is slow, but solid printer.

Decent Color Accuracy; Good Color Gamut

Slower than a crawling snail; Weak detail

The MG3220 is an entry-level mutifunction printer. It’s the jack-of-all-trades that is the master of none. Given its price range, it did fairly well in the color accuracy and color gamut arena. If you combine that with the large number of supported...

A good multifunction device for the price...

This Canon Pixma printer has only TWO ink tanks (read: in the case of inkjet printers, "less is more" as you have fewer ink tanks to run dry or go dry, to replace, to spend money on, etc.); one color, one B/W. they're reasonably prrced and if you have...

mostlyh great

Set up easily and works well. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars....puts too much 'junk' on my desktop, and I can't figure out how to not load all that stuff at startup....I can close it all once it opens, but it really slows down the start up.

Another beautiful Canon printer.

This printer is amazing. The quality of pictures I can print on it is spectacular. Wireless set-up, even with a Mac, was incredibly easy and straightforward. I love that it has built-in scanning and photocopying functions--and that it can effectively...

Not a Good Photo Printer

I bought this printer because of the price and the reviews. However, I found that the printer quality was no where good enough for pictures. I tried to print a handful, and they had a red tint. Additionally, the pictures seemed muddy and just of poor...
