Canon PIXMA MG5320

A barebones printer under $100 may be the most obvious choice when you need to lay ink to paper, but enhanced MFPs like Canon's new $150 MG5320 offer plenty of functionality to lure ambitious users a little further up the price ladder. Besides the...

Printing is extremely quiet ; Slick, compact design ; Packs a punch for its price and size

Glitchy out of the box ; Initially disorienting button placement

The Canon Pixma MG5320 was easy to setup and navigate, printed high-quality photos, zipped out pages quickly, and barely made a peep compared to some noisy competitors.

Canon Pixma MG5320

The Canon Pixma MG5320 encourages families, work groups, and individuals to print creative photos with the help of new software features like HD Movie Print, fun photo filters, and Pixma Cloud Link. Still, we have a few complaints. The printer doesn't...

Canon's new imaging suite with HD Movie Print, automatic photo filters, Pixma Cloud Link printing, and an integrated disc labeler all make the Canon Pixma MG5320 more useful for amateur photographers.

The printer lacks an Ethernet port for wired networking, and with no high-yield cartridges available, consumables can get pricey.

We recommend the Canon Pixma MG5320 and its photo-friendly features for amateur photographers shopping for a do-most-of-it imaging device, but the step-up Pixma MG6120 is a better fit for multiuser offices.

Canon Pixma MG5320

With the recent debut the $149.99 Pixma MG5320, which replaces last year's Pixma MG5220, Canon continues its trend of offering well-built, reasonably priced all-in-one (AIO) inkjet printers with the distinction of being the best-looking printers in...

Excellent print and scan quality ; Respectable speed for the price ; Easy to set up and use

No automatic document feeder ; Poor copying of skin tones ; Somewhat high cost per page

The Pixma MG5320 is a photo-centric AIO that offers a ton of perks for home and small offices, but its budget price means a few sacrifices.

"Great Photos"

Prints the best photos of any printer that I have owned or used. The amount of ink usage is not unreasonable and if refilled ink cartridges are purchased they are quite cheap. The only reason I did not give this printer 5 stars is due to the slow start...

Prints excellent photos. Ink cartridges easy to change.

Lengthy start up time.

"A great performer for the tiny price tag."

I'm happy with its performance and appearance and the ability to use the printer, without using the computer. Especially great for copying and photo editing!

I like this printer. I was forced to buy a new printer and scanner because of Windows 7, so I still miss my HP 1000. However, the Canon is a reliable printer, all round.

No extra volume inks so you need to buy ink more often. Also, like most Canon Printers, photo printing is in the rear. It also has a large footprint, but so do many of the all-in-ones
