Canon Pixma MG6120

Canon's new Pixma MG6120 multifunction printer satiates our high expectations for consumer-level printers at the $200 price point. This capable machine registers top marks in both speed and output quality and also innovates with features like a 3-inch...

The Pixma MG6120 uses Canon's new Intelligent Touch System and adds wireless connectivity with an auto-document feeder to its generous list of features.

The Pixma's oversensitive virtual buttons make it too easy to activate the wrong function.

We recommend the Canon Pixma MG6120 compact multifunction printer for its simple touch-sensitive control panel, HD Movie Print feature, and capable performance.

Canon Pixma MG6120

The Canon Pixma MG6120 color inkjet multifunction printer offers a lot for the money ($200 as of April 13, 2011), including impressive performance and features, plus the same shiny-black, touch-panel design as the much pricier Canon Pixma MG8120. A few...

Wealth of features ; Touch-sensitive control panel

No automatic document feeder

A touch-sensitive control panel lifts the well-equipped, reasonably fast MG6120 over its midpriced competition.

Canon Pixma MG6120 All-in-One Inkjet Printer

For $159, the Canon Pixma MG6120 prints good-looking photos from your smart phone, memory card, or laptop and looks good doing it.

Attractive design ; Straightforward wireless setup ; Works with Android and iOS phones ; Wide media card support

Smart phone app doesn't support documents ; Slow print speeds over Wi-Fi

It wasn't the printer with the fastest speed or best print quality, but the $159 Canon Pixma MG6120 provides plenty of features--including the ability to print from your Android or iOS device--for a good price. It can handle documents with ease, and...

Review: Canon Pixma MG6120 printer

A touch-sensitive control panel lifts the well-equipped, reasonably fast MG6120 over its midpriced competition.

The touch-sensitive control panel is a lot of fun and easy to use. The only physical button you'll find on the Pixma MG6120 is the power button. All other controls light up as you need them on the glossy-black panel that comprises the top of the...

Canon Pixma MG6120 review

The entire top panel is dedicated to the control panel. Smack in the center is the adjustable 3.0 inch LCD; lift the screen by pushing the large button above it. Beneath the screen, running the entire length of the top panel is the Intelligent Touch...

Great print quality ; Intelligent Touch System ; Low energy consumption

Lengthy processing times ; Ink refill costs

The Canon Pixma MG6120 comes with a 1-year limited warranty with InstantExchange program

Canon Pixma MG6120

This elegantly designed, solidly constructed all-in-one inkjet produces stunning output for amateur photographers who need a printer they won't be embarrassed to show off in their living rooms.

Exceptional output; well built and designed; highly attractive, functional controls and LCD

High cost of ink; no automatic sheet feeder for multipage originals; slow scanner driver

Canon says this printer is designed for families who want to print high-quality photos and that also have the need for occasional business printing—say, for a family member who is also a home-office worker. Evaluated from that perspective, the Pixma...

"Worst Printer I've ever owned! Ink is VERY expensive!"

It's not a printer for the budget conscious student. I've had to replace ALL of the ink cartridges two times now and I'm not even 1/2 way through ONE ream of paper yet. $88 each hit (for all 6 ink tanks). You can purchase the ink cartridges each...

-Cool touch buttons.

-It's much slower than my old broken printer (My old printer was a Canon Pixma MP500).

"Save Time and Money"

Nice design. Too costly and irritating to figure out the error codes and ink cartridge problems. If you want to spend $100 on ink every 50 pages or so and be pissed off that you can't scan a document and save to a flash drive or computer because you...

The design is really nice. I like the way it lights up, has WIFI, is easy to install, converts to PDF, scans easily and save anything from documents to pictures on flash cards and other portable memory.

Pictures print too red. The cost of the ink is outrageous and it is an ink HOG. Won't print just black and white. Won't print or scan without ALL 7 cartridges full. Way too many error codes. A real pain to own.

"Strangest and worse printer ever invented"

This is the strangest printer I have ever experienced. It works for a little bit, and then a week later, will not print, or if it prints, prints half a page and quits. It sits there clicking and whirring, and it might grab a sheet to print or it might...

Looks good, nice feature set - if they worked

Where to begin? Never works. Expensive ink. Costs about $1 page to print anything.
