Can Canon deliver its usual excellence at a sub-£50 price? Simon finds out.

This may be an inexpensive all-in-one printer, but it still produces excellent print quality, is easy to use and, despite Canon's outlandish claims, is reasonably quick. Print costs are a bit on the high side and it would be useful to have a PictBridge...

Easy to use, very quiet operation, scan quality, value for money

Light prints, tri-colour ink cartridge, slow printing times

The MP190 is good value for money, but for quality photographic printing we will have to look to Canon's higher-end models.

Hope it lasts longer and performs better than the HPs and Lexmarks I've delt with in the past

inexpensive, sleek design, nice two-tone color scheme. Fast print speeds very quick set up

In hind sight, I think I should have purchased a printer with built in wired and/or wireless network support.

Scanner works well. Printer prints well in both color and b/w

Horrible Cheap Printer!!

 

Don't buy this printer. It's cheap, but you get what you pay for and it won't last long.

It was cheap and seemed like a great printer. I loved that it was an all in one

I bought this printer in December 08 from Newegg. It is now April and the thing has an error message that won't clear itself. I got a paper jam, cleared the paper only the printer keeps saying that there is a paper jam. I've tried turning the printer...

If you have basic printing and scanning needs, this machine will probably server you well.

I bought this printer for a low cost linux computer I am building for someone. After much googling, I got both the scanner and printer working perfectly with Ubuntu 9.04 32-bit beta. Scan and print quality are both very acceptable. I've only tested it...

Predictably, this printer is pretty cheaply constructed. It works great now, but I can't help but wonder how well it will hold up over the long run

I hope i can figure out why it prints so light

Not many.Its fast once it starts printing

Not the greatest printer.Itys very loud when its printing and takes a little while to get ready to print and once it starts it pretty fast.But the image's it prints are very light.Nothing like the HP and Epson printers ive owned before it

All in all very good printer.

Very good printer, worked right out of the box and still is going. Prints very good pictures and word docs

The loading of the ink is kinda weird but it works. I think it uses ink kinda fast but, it could just be me. It was also kinda hard to set up on linux but after some time I got it
