cheap, effective, cheap, useable

Rather then buy new ink, i'll just buy a new one.... LOL

Cheap, comes with ink, prints fast, all in one

Paper load, worst design ever, if you don't have enough paper in it won't automatically feed without you force feeding it

canon printers rock and so does this one

as the other use has said i to but this with a new gateway computer at bestbu@. sorry newegg. but let me just start of telling you that this printer/scanner is easy to use . printing is nice and clear almost as good as the professional ones .scanning...

i hate the fact it doesn't come with a usb power cord to plug into the computer.but you can get one at the dollar store for a buck ; other than that no cons

Best low price printer

Buy this printer, you will not regret it.

Very very clear prints. Unbelievable quality when printing photos with Canon Glossy II paper. Doesn't use as much ink as some other printers. Canon leads the industry with customer satisfaction and printer reliability according to consumer reports

Kindof slow sometimes when the printer is preparing to print. (I've had to wait as much as a minute for the printer to even begin to print as the printer cleans its print heads to prepare to print)

Canon MP240

Most of those cons are more just personal gripes because this really is a pretty good printer. Great if you dont need to print a lot. I dont use it for pictures so if thats what you want it for im not real sure how it does with those.

First of all this came with my new gateway computer that i bought from best buy (sorry EGG). This is a decent little all in one printer with good scanner and decent print quality. Its perfect for what i use it for. i dont really print a lot so i dont...

I dont like the fact that it doesent have an actual screen on it and its kind of hard to figure the darn thing out but once you do its fine. It also makes a lot of noise when it prints and the paper feed is kind of weird and a little unreliable

Fantastic for what I paid!

I've only owned Canon Bubble Jet printers since owning my first computer way back in 1998. This is my second printer and my first true 'multi function' printer and haven't ever looked back since its purchase way back in 2009. I've found that the...

Cheap, great results from both the printer & scanner, simple to setup and transport and self contained.

OEM Print cartridges are expensive - but easy to refill.

Value for money!!

I bought the MP240 exactly two years ago and it has been totally reliable and fault free. I replaced it this week with an MP250 only because someone dropped a screw into the paper feed and chewed up the pick-up rollers. Unfortunately I had only...

reliable, value for money, easy to set-up and use

ink cartridges are expensive

OK

i have this printer as my main work printer, it is mainly used for scanning and the occasional printing. Scanning photos is really quick and easy. They are also clear and print really well. The ink catridges are expensive and the counter is not very...

fast, easy to use, good quality print, scans really well

ink expensive, a little noisy, ink counter not accurate

Consumer review (productreview.com.au)

OK

For a lower priced printer (we only paid around $80) this works really well. Photo's print nicely, clear sharp print, so no problem there, but not too happy about the cartridges. The only place I have found around here that stocks the cartridges is...

Prints reasonably quickly, not too noisy.

Not very easy to get replacement cartridges.
