We were able to archive our entire collection... 

I love the ablility to scan whole trays of photos at the same time and have the software recognize and save each individually. Good, reasonably fast for the home text/casual graphics printing.

Short life-span; 18 months for mine. Expensive ink; to replace the BW and color ink was 86% of what I paid for the machine in the first place.
