Canon Pixma MX410: Wi-Fi and ADF Come Cheaply, but Not Black Ink

Canon's Pixma MX410 color inkjet multifunction printer offers a classic set of budget tradeoffs. For a low $100 purchase price (as of 06/07/2011), you get Wi-Fi connectivity, an automatic document feeder (ADF) with manual two-sided scanning, and superb...

Canon Pixma MX410

Design and features The design of the Pixma MX410 is streamlined so that every drawer, tray, and port folds up flush into the self-contained body. The result is a very sleek matte black exterior with all of the buttons you need to adjust the settings...

Inexpensive; includes auto-document feeder; robust software suite; 1.8-inch LCD; Wi-Fi.

Lacks media card reader; slow output performance.

The Canon Pixma MX410 isn't the fastest printer in its image class, but its auto-document feeder, wireless connectivity, and the comprehensive Canon software suite earn this multifunction printer our recommendation for light to moderate monthly output.

Canon Pixma MX410 review

Canon's Pixma MX410 color inkjet multifunction printer offers a classic set of budget tradeoffs. For a low £99 purchase price (as of 10/01/2012), you get Wi-Fi connectivity, an automatic document feeder (ADF) with manual two-sided scanning, and superb...

Canon's Pixma MX410 is a decent light-use choice among low-priced models, especially given its manually duplexing ADF--something missing from the like-priced Dell V313w and Epson Stylus NX420. If you print more than a couple of pages a day, however,...

Canon MX410

This is a multi function unit as not only does it print, scan and copy it can also be used to send and receive faxes. What I would like to know is does anyone still send and receive faxes, surely everything is email today.

By default it scans to PDF and the time taken from pressing the scan button till a PDF file is opened on the PC is 90seconds

Canon - PIXMA MX410

Canon's PIXMA MX410 is a stylish all-in-one multifunction printer for the home that offers a wide range of features at a very good price. It's a rather bulky unit that takes up a decent amount of ...

Overall, the MX410 is a versatile device that offers a range of key functions for a low price. But there's nothing particularly unique about the way in which it goes about its job. With reasonable text print quality making up somewhat for its slow...

"At that price($59) i didnt expect much."

Good for personal documents the occasional school work. I would probably pay the extra $20 and get the better model if i could do it again.

Its cheap. I see Canon went up in prices on their ink since i last bought ink My old Canon something was wrong with it. I pretty much didnt use it in years. That model was better built than this one. The old one was also quicker and text was sharper.

I barely used it and the black ink is already out.

"DO NOT BUY."

Useful information is impossible to find on online and the supplied manuals are worthless. The diagrams are far from illuminating and appear to have no relation to the actual printer. The inkjets are new and properly installed. It print ok during...

The scanning function works but nothing else.

Manuals are poorly written and incomplete. Diagrams are useless.

"Good printer for the price."

I bought this printer for school work mostly. At $79 is not bad at all. It took me less then 40 mins to set this printer up on 4 computers and my phone. The install is not idiot proof so some basic computer knowledge is necessary. Yet it was fairly...

Wireless (b,g,n)

Like any other "Ink Jet" there is the cost of the cartiges. They normally run for 24 bucks per cartige. In my opinion not to expensive.
