For the craftsman who loves to make big, beautiful, prints - the Canon Pro9000 Mark II is the tool you are looking for

I'll jump right into this review with my impressions upon seeing the first 13"x19" print come out of the Pro9000 Mark II, WOW! And I don't just mean the model when I say that. The print was gorgeous too! I'm not going to take much space here to cover...

Canon Pixma Pro9000 Mark II review

A speedy colour specialist that's easy to install

Very fast and can't be matched for colour print quality on glossy paper

Relatively poor black-and-white

Stunning colour quality wins out if you're not into printing black-and-white.

Canon Pixma Pro 9000

Expensive but solidly built – a fast way to get superbly vibrant A3 prints.

Amazing Printer

Durability, cannot believe it has put out quality for over 4 years and just keeps on running well. Thought I would write review because I have nothing that has lasted this long and put out so much high quality prints.

Awesome printer!

Prints great, color use is lower than my hp and I can replace only the color that I need to replace and not the whole ink cartridge just because one color ran out like the HP's!

No cons so far!

Great Printer!

Don't complain about color issues if not using good color management practices (calibration & profile, at the least). If you are using a crummy monitor in a room with funky lights, colorful walls, and using low quality materials, you'll probably get bad...

Did not buy at Newegg, due to special offer. If not for that, they would be my first choice. Used with Canon Pro Platinum paper, the gamut is insane. As good as, and better than prints from a lot of labs. We have a large format printer, and it's hard...

It's a beast. Clear some space for it. No Network capability (but for the price range, I'm not complaining).

Excellent Deal

Initial impressions are that this printer prints excellent photos. With the MIR newegg has going on right now, this printer is a STEAL!

None, yet... But I am sure it is going to be how quickly I go through ink and how expensive it will be... but that goes with every printer..

Big, fast, makes good everyday printer too!

If you are used to noisy, cheaper printers, then this will be a big change for you. Everything on this printer says quality. From photos to every day printing, this printer fits the bill. Best printer I've owned in over 35 years of computer experience....

This printer is big. It has to be to print out the larger prints it is able to do. This printer is a very high quality printer. It was designed to print photos first and foremost. I have found that it also makes a good everyday printer. Some people...

No real cons except if you buy the ink from Canon. Ink costs are high but there are ways around that (CISS). Takes up a lot of space as it is kind of big. Biggest desktop printer I've seen in a while. Don't expect a great first print. Run some standard...

Received in 31 hours!!!

Great so far. For the price, this printer will give you pro quality prints at very large sizes. Much better colors and saturation than older inkjets had. The price of consumables (ink and paper) will far outweigh the price of this machine. I have sent...

Canon PIXMA Pro 9000 Mark II ordered at 2:44 a.m. Wednesday. Arrived at 9:35 a.m. Thursday. I did not have "expedite order" checked and had 3 day UPS delivery for $4 on this product. Product arrived in its box with a label attached within 31 hours! I...

Canon had the product taped up very well. There was a piece of tape that I thought had to come off before turning the unit on. On the far side of the print head. Just to let you know...this holds the print head lever down and isn't holding the print...

Great prints but terrible ink system

It prints great photos and general printing, nothing wrong with it mechanically. The electronic ink sensor is awful and frankly does not work. I truly feel sorry for people that don't look at the tank when they are changing out, they are spending at...

No problem setting up, prints on gloss paper are gorgeous. easy to use

Where to start, The printer worked great for 6 months, ink "sensor" not an issue. Then the panel told me it was out of cyan ink , popped open a new ink tank and pulled the "old"one out. It was more than 1/2 full. Called Canon, must be a problem with...
