Dell 1700n

Review: The Dell 1700n black-and-white laser printer is a good choice at $299 for a small business or a home office that's ready to experience convenient workgroup printing without busting the budget to have network readiness. With just a 200MHz...

Low price; network ready; sleek; attractive; easy to install

Output is not spectacular; no Macintosh compatibility; requires upgrades for networks larger than a handful of people

Small offices pursuing a low-cost, grayscale workgroup laser printer can start with the Dell 1700n.

these pieces of junk are now piled up worthlessly in our storage area for disposal. Stick to HP's, their 1200 and 1300 series run circles around these things. Take it from an IT guy who has had to deal with these compared to HP models. If you go one...

none that I can think of

they provide no feedback, have no easy setup configuration buttons or routines for network setup, toners are only available through Dell, overpriced and 5 of 10 have constant jamming
