The Dell C1760nw Color Printer is a tiny LED-based printer for micro or home office, with typical speed and output quality for its class.

Compact. Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB connectivity.

Lacks auto-duplexer. No port for USB thumb drive.

Dell C1760nw

Dell's C1760nw is one of the least expensive colour LED printers on the market, at a penny under £100 from some sources. This puts it well into the colour inkjet market, while offering the permanent and crisp letter formation a toner-based printer...

Low cost ; Lifetime drum and fuser ; Quiet running

Very high running costs ; Slower than some inkjets ; Yellow tint to photos

It’s never a good policy to have a printer that’s cheaper to buy than a set of its consumables – why not just buy a new printer? Other than this, there are some nice design features to the machine, though it’s not particularly quick and photo prints...

Dell C1760nw review

If your old Dell C1660w colour printer is on its last legs and you're thinking of upgrading your small office or home printer, you'll be pleased to learn that Dell has a successor – with a few more useful features.

For the Dell C1760nw Dell has made some necessary upgrades to the C1660w colour printer, adding a network connection, expanded paper input and faster print engine. But ink costs are far higher than average and will make the printer unattractively...

Dell C1760nw colour printer

We've spent a lot of electronic ink telling you to avoid low-cost colour laser printers, because they're all slow, with sparse features and worst of all, really expensive toner. We'd almost advise the same about the $249 (as of April, 2013) Dell...

Outstandingly sharp text printing; quality graphic and photo printing

Pricey toner; average to slow printing times

Colour laser devotees, we know you’re out there. If you must buy a low-cost colour laser, the Dell C1760nw is one we’re willing to recommend – albeit with many reservations – because of its unusually good graphics quality.

Print quality is excellent Print speed is excellent Very quiet While the 'official' toner is very expensive 'off-brand' alternatives can be found for much, much less.

Wi-Fi setup can be complicated, however a quick Google search can sort anything!
