Epson Artisan 835

The Epson Artisan 835 is the company's flagship, photo-oriented color inkjet multifunction (print/copy/scan/fax). Although it isn't specifically designed for office use (as is Epson's WorkForce line), the Artisan 835 has nearly every feature a...

Wealth of features, including touch-control panel ; Economical inks ; Impressive photo speed and print quality

Default text quality on plain paper is mediocre ; Expensive purchase price

A wealth of features make this unit nearly as well suited for family or home office users as it is for photo enthusiasts.

Epson Artisan 835

Among the Artisan 835's more office-centric features is its 30-page automatic document feeder (ADF), which makes it easy to print, scan, copy, and fax multi-page documents as well as legal-sizes pages that won't fit on the flatbed. In addition, it can...

Fast. Prints, scans, and faxes over network. Standalone fax and copier. Duplexer. Automatic document feeder. WiFi

Slightly sub-par photo quality. Low paper capacity

The Epson Artisan 835 offers a good fit for both home and light duty home office use, earning high marks for speed and multi-function printer (MFP) capability.

Epson Artisan 835 Review

It has been two years since we reviewed the first Epson Artisan All-in-one inkjet that started it all, the Artisan 800. When it first launched we were impressed with its piano black finish and stylish exterior that let it blend in with just about any...

Faster printing speeds. Easy to setup on your network. Print from iPhone capabilities. Still very stylish and will fit into any decor. Priced right. Beautiful prints

Flimsy paper-tray. Printer will not print if one cartridge is out of ink. An update to the touch panel would have been nice

The Epson Artisan 835 printer may not be a game changer anymore, but its significant improvements over its predecessors such as faster speeds, mobile printing, and even richer colors certainly is impressive. The included bundled software is a nice...

Review: Epson Artisan 835 multifunction printer

A wealth of features make this unit nearly as well suited for family or home office users as it is for photo enthusiasts.

Automatic duplexing (two-sided printing) and an automatic document feeder for sending multipage documents through the scanner help make the Artisan 835 one of the best-equipped inkjet multifunctions we've seen. It also handles printable optical media...

Epson Artisan 835 review

Offering a mix of new features, such as portable device charging, and old favorites, like a large 7.8 inch touch panel with a built-in card reader, the Artisan 835 is the flagship model of the Artisan all-in-one photo inkjet line

Exceptional photo quality ; A mix of unique and standard AIO features ; Ease of use

Costly ink replacement ; Draft print quirk

Still, the Artisan 835 is worth considering if you are in the market for an all-in-one photo printer with quick print speeds and outstanding photo quality

Epson Artisan 835

This Swiss-Army-knife all-in-one offers fast print speeds, excellent output, a vast array of features, and ease of use for home users who need it all from an inkjet.

Loaded with easy-to-use features; fast document printing; high-quality output

High price; high cost of consumables; low-capacity output tray

When we asked Epson who the Artisan 835 was designed for, the company said, “Busy moms with lots of projects for their children, their church, soccer teams, and so on.” Any mother who has enough projects to use all these features will certainly be...

Epson Artisan 835

The six-ink system makes up for the lower resolutions in most cases, making the Epson Artisan 835 a great choice for any home or business that intends to print photos. The rest of its functions are on par with other leading all-in-one printers....

The Epson Artisan 835 is an excellent scanner, and a good printer and copier

The printing resolution is average, and its resulting prints are good, but not great

The Epson Artisan 835 excels with its high-resolution scanning.

Epson Artisan 835

I would highly recommend this product to anyone I know, even my mother. It has so many features that make it a wonderful tool for any home office. It is best suited for CD and photo printing, however, has everything you need for the occasional user. ...

Excellent speed and quality of photo images, excellent CD/DVD Printing, Intelligent Paper Tray with additional photo tray. So many features

To tilt the screen down requires a button press that if not familiar with, can result in someone trying to force the screen down. Noisy during priming

Epson Artisan 835

I am completely satisfied with the Artisan 835. I would buy it again a twice the price.

Superb high definition photo printing even with lower-end photo paper. Easy set-up with my wireless network. Excelent software included. The color touch-screen contols are easy to navigate and it displays brilliant views of your photos when printing...

My only complaint is the occasionally balky feeding of 4 x 6 photo paper - sometimes 2 or even 3 sheets of paper get fed at the same time resulting in 2 or 3 sheet print with part of the image on each of the sheets. This can be avoided by loading only...

Epson Artisan 835

Purchases are strongly advised to register their machine, which will give them an extra 1 year on their warranty. In my experience, this will bd needed.

I won the Artisan 810 but feel that I need to record my experiences here to put prospective buyers on notice.Speed, features

Reliability - I am now on my 3rd one, the first 2 having been replaced by Epson with refurbished units. The first time, i kept getting paper jam messages even though there was no jam. Epson replace this 9 months after my initial purchase. 4 months...
