Epson Expression Home XP-312 review

A wide range of features and high-end print, photo and scan quality make this our favourite MFP for the money

poor performance

I wish I'd bought something else. Not user friendly with fiddly buttons and tiny screen. Photos print with banded lines across. Now, despite doing all the nozzle clean etc I still can't print a good page without lines of text missing.

Temperamental when scanning and often needs much coaxing in order to do so.Slow to respond to a request to print to the extent that you think it's not going to oblige.Copying seems ok

Very disappointing

  (Rating Hidden)

Horribly thin and rattly plastic construction. Fitting cartridges imprecise. Printing noisy, draft quality is the worst I've ever experienced, grey and trembly but high quality is very black and ink heavy. Takes an age to get going after being switched...

I am not technically minded but I set it up following the instructions on the CD with no problem and it was a doddle to go wi fi.Putting the inks in was no problem and the printouts are clear and sharp.Easy controls to understand although screen is not...

The WF 2660 delivers a lot more than expected and very quickly too

Very easy to set up even with two computers, one tablet and a phone. All set up to print wireless. Print quality is very good, certainly as good as my Son's far more expensive printer. Double sided printing is a real plus point and it also does double...

Paper tray doesn't hold a lot of paper but that is a very small price to pay for all the plus points this printer has.

Excellent print quality ,reasonable print speed.

Instructions disjointed & difficult to follow .

Fairly small, quiet and quick. Quality of photo reproduction is excellent - all that I would expect from an Epson.

Bit early to tell, but I have the feeling that the ink cartridges are a little skimpy.
