Epson Expression Premium XP-510

A smart little midrange all-in-one with duplex print and wireless direct from mobile devices

Small format ; Front access paper tray ; Easy cartridge access

Small, 37mm LCD screen ; No front panel USB socket ; Noisy paper feed

Software is a little sparse, without the ABBYY OCR software supplied with more expensive machines in the range, but you do get Epson Scan, Easy Photo Print and Event Manager.

Epson Expression Premium XP-510

Epson has built a good reputation for its budget inkjet all-in-one printers, and the Expression Premium XP-510 aims to maintain this, in an unobtrusive, small-footprint device. It's aimed at the home and home-office market, and aims to be as good for...

Epson's all-in-one inkjet prints excellent photos, but has a couple of significant flaws

Epson Expression Premium XP-510

quality and speed are very acceptable and, once you master the knack of ensuring you have installed the driver correctly (!) and that you are using the correct paper etc when setting up your printing task then the duplex print is impressive and welcome...

the paper tray and feed is plasticky and appears not all that robust; in time one wonders how it will fare with the need to recharge. The other downside is the cost of ink .. quite horrendous and really extortionate

Epson Expression Premium XP-510

Very easy to set up and use. Takes 'letter size' paper which is the reason I chose it. Easy printing. Copying without turning on the computer is first class, saves a lot of time

Have not found any yet and don't think I will

Really smart looking and excellent print quality

Sometimes the wireless connection is a bit hit and miss (but that may be human error)

Compact, easy to use and economical with ink

Not easy to connect to WiFi or print from a remote device. Not totally compatible with an iMac
