constant Jams on 14inch paper

The 2180 seems to be the reduce-cost-to-produce version of the 2170. Second tractor not included except at extra cost, Smaller capacity ink ribbon. No out feed paper guide. Manual on disk that computer can't read. Driver wont load in Windows 98. AND 14...

Does not print properly when you upgrade your OS

This printer would be great if it worked the way it was supposed to. Currently, the printer will not do continuous feed when the operating system is updated. This seems to be a pretty widely known issue with dot matrix printers and yet there is no...

My Fault

Printer seems to be good. Only thing is that I should have checked that it only had one tractor. My 2180 had 2 and that was great, didn't have to switch the tractor or paper.

Sad Shipper

This 2190 replaced a DFX 5000+. The 2190 started out fine but after two weeks it started printing slower and slower. Now I can send a batch of 20 print job through and it will take about 30 seconds per page. This printer isn't even a month old.

EPSON FX 2190 Driver for Windows 7 Professional

Trying to match an older dot matrix printer with a new Windows 7 OS can be a daunting endeavor, to say the least. Locating the driver via Google and Epson's easily accessible supprot web-site made the task childs play. It worked seamlessly without a...

This printer isnt as good as one would've hoped. It is easy to setup and use. It is compatible with most PCs. It is compact and can be easily shifted around.

It has a 180 dpi!! And the speed also is bad.

Epson FX2190 is definitely an avoidable printer. I hardly use it, so its ok for me. And it still troubles. I definitely wouldnt recommend it to someone who will use it often. This definitely isnt Epson's best printer.

Not worth it

This printer has very limited strengths, and hardly any of them have to do anything with printing. It is compact and decent looking. The first few prints are fine.

Overall printing isnt good at all. It is slow.

The Epson FX2190 is not worth it. It would be much better to pick something else. This printer was a hand-me-down from my elder sister. It prints fine at times, but only the first few papers. If you are trying to print in bulk, this is a bad option. I...
