Two printers - same head clogging problem!

 

Bought CX5200, worked well for 13 months, just as warranty was up, print heads clogged and could not be cleaned using the only utility offered. Tech support was quick to offer a replacement, upgrade to CX5400, at no charge, even though warranty was up....

Worked well for about a year

Excellent general purpose device

 

I purchased the CX5200 about 8 months ago to replace an older Epson printer (the 720 DPI Stylus color 400) and a Mustek scanner. Epson offered a $40 rebate to upgrade. (The rebate coupon was in an ink package I bought for my old printer). Prices on...

Crisp text. Great photos on plain or matte paper. individual ink cartridges. Easy to use

Loud paper feed. Fairly expensive ink. Ink scuffs easily
