Epson Stylus CX7800

The Epson Stylus CX7800 makes photo printing and copying very easy; has a color LCD on front panel; shows good scan and text print quality; uses individual ink cartridges.

The Epson CX7800 is extremely slow at printing text; its photos and graphics look dithered; LCD has no print preview function.

The Epson CX7800 all-in-one is remarkably easy to use. Too bad its photo printing is merely average and its print speeds are ridiculously slow.

Epson Stylus CX7800

The Epson Stylus CX7800 is the budget choice in the emerging category of photo lab AIOs.

AIO features, including slide scanning. Prints directly from cameras, memory cards, and film.

Slow performance. No automatic document feeder. No fax features. Marginal quality copying slides.

Epson Stylus CX7800 Printer

The Epson Stylus CX7800 is a great inkjet multifunction printer (MFP) for desktop publishers, graphic designers, and photographers. Reasonably priced, it captures images from paper, film, and digital cameras, and prints high-quality photos.

High quality photo prints and scans ; Can scan slides and negatives

Slow prints and basic paper handling ; Tiny 1.5-inch color display

On the downside, the CX7800's weak document-handling features make it unsuitable for office use. Also, the single paper tray accommodates just 100 sheets of plain paper, and the output tray holds only30 sheets. Epson provides no built-in fax machine...

"Not worth the price."

Bought this for my small business and decided its been more of a headache than the price tag was worth. When I really need it to be there for me it runs out of colored ink and wont print - not even if the black is full. Then I'm stuck spending $60 for...

Good quality photo printing for the person that does not print many pictures. Scan quality is superb and text printing is beautiful.

Uses primarily color ink. Set it to print in black ink only and it will use all the colored ink to make black - instead of using the black ink. Once any color of ink is out it won't print at all.

EPSON Stylus CX7800 C11C614001 Up to 20 ppm Up to 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer

The printer has been great, but when put in a time pinch, we just needed to print some stuff in black & white, and can't, because the cyan cartridge is out. Go figure.

decent printer, decent price

you CANNOT print if any ink cartridge runs out, not even black only

Great Printer

I can't figure out why some people had problems with this printer. It is easier to setup than the two HP all-in-ones I bought. Has better print quality than all my previous printer including the HP's. Everything about it is top knotch.

Easy out of box setup. Great print quality. Works great with Photoshop CS. Wife loves the scanner capabilities. Very study machine. Used with sd memory card, did great

None so far. Haven't tried scanning negatives or slides, but I didn't really buy it for that purpose
