Epson Stylus D120 printer - Pocket-lint

Epson's Stylus D120 is a printer aimed at convincing you its high-speed output plus colour capability makes it a good alternative to a laser printer

Ease of use and set up, fast, near laser quality text, borderless photos

Not as fast as claimed, some fuzziness on text, dithering patterns visible in lower quality (read faster) print modes

The Epson Stylus D120 offers a good combination of speed (though not as fast as Epson claims) and versatility; print output is okay overall with good photo printing into the bargain.

Epson Stylus D120

Is this the sensible alternative to a personal laser printer for the small or home office?

Epson Stylus D120 review

As befits a machine marketed for business use, the D120 is larger than other budget inkjets, and has a more reassuring heft to it.

It's not all business. Ideal for documents, and good for photos too.

Epson claims that the Stylus D120 is excellent for business use, but we'd dispute that. Even with two black ink cartridges, the Epson Stylus D120's text output is ordinary and in no way compares to that of a cheap laser printer. However, the Epson...

Epson Stylus D120

Easy to use. Ink change is easy and clean

Uses a lot of ink. Is always needing the heads cleaning as the ink fades. Tends tojam paper and needs manually clearing
