Good photo print quality, simple to use

Lacks a colour LCD screen and connect-to-PC USB cable, slow output on top quality photos

The DX4800 hits all the right points in terms of output quality, size and price, though it’s a tad slow

This is an inexpensive device for anybody with simple requirements for a printer, scanner and copier. The lack of an LCD monitor and its print speed count against it, but print quality and running costs are reasonable for a machine at this price.

If you have run out of colours but have full black and you need to print a document in black and white and you even set the printer to print in black and white the printer will purposefully not work as it will insist you need to buy the other colours...
