Epson R2000 -- Wireless 13x19 Printing

The one-hour 4x6 jumbo print may be no more than a memory but that doesn't mean the screen has replaced the print. Screens are lovely, but the ones that are handy are too small and the ones that are big enough aren't portable.

The larger ink cartridges for the R2000 are all $21.99 direct from Epson. Amazon offers some of them at $19.95, a 9.0 percent savings, available via the Imaging Resource Amazon affiliate program...

Epson Stylus Photo R2000

The Epson Stylus Photo R2000's design "seems a bit too delicate," says Mike Pasini at (who otherwise loves the printer), although he doesn't say why. Other experts make no complaints about sturdiness, but we did find more owner...

Very good pigment-ink photo prints, Can print on roll paper and large panoramic sheets, Fast printing, Chroma optimizer for glossy prints

Wasteful ink purge and delays during auto switching, More customer complaints than Canon

Epson Stylus Photo 2000P Promises Archival-Quality Prints

Inkjet printers have made amazing leaps in image quality over the past few years, to the point that you can print photographic images of stunning quality with models by Epson, Hewlett-Packard, Lexmark and Canon. As impressive as these images can be,...

Epson should be praised for improving their product but the article fails to place these improvements within the context of Epson's marketing that has been somewhat mis-leading in the past. The very fugitive nature of the early inkjet prints was...

Excellent print quality ; Up to A3+ sizes and roll paper support

No roll cutter ; Inks are expensive (although not for a photo printer)

Epson's Stylus Photo R2000 is capable of handling the needs of photography enthusiasts who want to print their digital images in A3 or A3+ sizes. The roll paper feed means panorama printing is a breeze (although there's no automatic cutter to ensure...

Epson Stylus Photo R2000 review

The Epson Stylus Photo R2000 is an A3+ photo printer with integrated 802.11n Wi-Fi and roll media printing.

If Wi-Fi or roll paper printing is an important feature that you could use, the Epson Stylus Photo R2000 comes recommended (with the caveat that you'll have to cut the roll paper yourself). In other aspects it's an easy equal to other high-end photo...

Epson Stylus Photo R2000

A mid-range A3+ printer for photo enthusiasts who require WiFi connectivity. Replacing the Stylus Photo R1900 in Epson's enthusiast's printer range, the Stylus Photo R2000 uses the same UltraChrome Hi-Gloss 2 pigment ink set. However, each ink...

It's difficult to make 'buy/don't buy' recommendations for this printer because, although it does some things well and offers some facilities that photo enthusiasts may want or require, there are only two features that set it above the model it...

Product Specifications

In building on the advances introduced with the Epson UltraChrome K3 ink with vivid magenta, Epson has engineered the UltraChrome HDR (High Dynamic Range) pigment ink technology. While still retaining its key features, such as three-level black ink for superb gray balance, and smooth tonal gradations from shadow to highlight, UltraChrome HDR comprises several new important innovations that contribute to dramatically enhanced print and color quality. One of the most significant advantages of the UltraChrome HDR ink is the inclusion of orange and green inks, which bring about dramatic expansion in the color gamut, especially in the bright /vivid green to yellow, and yellow to red ranges. In particular, with the orange ink, the Epson HDR ink technology delivers a major reduction in image grain that is typically evidenced ink skin tone reproductions.
