Epson Stylus Photo 900, 960

 

The Epson Stylus Photo 900 and the Stylus Photo 960 look quite similar, with their three-shades-of-gray design and rounded edges.

Output quality was excellent, with true photo quality, good to excellent graphics, and text that was readable at 4 points in more than half the fonts we test. And this was the only photo printer in our roundup that retained the thinnest of lines...

The Photo 900 offers unique capabilities and good photo quality but doesn't excel at printing text or spreadsheets on ordinary paper.

Fast ; Can print on CDs and DVDs ; Quiet ; Low price ; Excellent print quality and archival durability

You need a lot of space behind the printer to accommodate its media tray ; CD and DVD labels are a little undersaturated
