Epson Stylus Photo R360 printer review

The Epson Stylus Photo R360 basks in the glow of a sub-£100 price and combines a nice 3.5-inch colour LCD with easy to use controls, stand-alone six-ink printing, and memory card slots for stand-alone printing. For the latter you get compatibility with...

Excellent photo print quality, good text output, and nice LCD screen

Slower than claimed print speeds

Epson’s R360 is a neat A4 inkjet printer that looks a lot like Epson’s all-in-one printer-scanner combos but is designed for those that don’t require those tools in the same package

Epson Stylus Photo R360 review

Epson's bulky Stylus Photo R360 is one of the largest A4 printers here, with enough room for a 3in screen, an integrated memory card reader and well-designed controls that make it easy to print photos without a PC.

A big screen makes this printer easy to use straight from the camera. But rival systems do a better job when it comes to the finished article

Acceptable photo printing straight from the camera – ideal for the computer-phobic

If you thought that A4 photo printers were a thing of the past, think again.

At the price, this is a photo printer which produces good photographic images. Occasional text and graphics print is also reasonable, though the Stylus Photo R360 is no tearaway. The large LCD display is a distinct bonus when selecting and modifying...

The Macworld team take a look at a selection of colour inkjet printers offering the best for photographers and businesses alike.

Six colours in separate ink tanks, card reader for printing without turning on the computer

It would have been nice to see duplexing included at this price

Epson claims a print speed of 30ppm for both colour and black and white prints in standard mode. For our document test, it printed the first sheet in a respectable 40 seconds, and each sheet thereafter in around 22 seconds. When it came to printing out...

Epson Stylus R360

Unlike its cheaper R265 sibling, the Epson Stylus R360 is not short on features..

Features for the money, Crisp prints

Slow, Lost shadow detail

Good features for the money with crisp prints though shadow detail is a disappointment

Epson Stylus Photo R360

This printer has an extra that is becoming – slowly – more common, the ability to print onto CD's and DVD's. I do not mean on a piece of paper that you then stick onto the CD but direct onto the CD.

The is not small at 40x45x24cm the first and last figures need to increase slightly when paper is inserted in the vertical back position and the space behind needs to increase when CD's are printed as the tray is taken out the rear of the printer...

A good choice for those who want to use an LCD control panel. It's more cost effective than the HP Photosmart D7360, but with fewer features and lower performance
