Epson Stylus Photo R380

This model's many extras, including the ability to print on CDs and DVDs, are appealing.

Prints on CD/DVD media, Nice photo output quality

Disappointing plain-paper print quality, Confusing CD/DVD printing process

Epson Stylus Photo R380 Inkjet Printer (30 PPM, 5760x1440 DPI, Color, PC/Mac)

Epson's Stylus Photo R380 offers photo features galore, plus a cool bonus: CD/DVD printing. Are these features worth the trade-offs of mediocre print speed and indifferent plain-paper print quality? Some users will think so.

Prints on CD/DVD media ; Nice photo output quality

Disappointing plain-paper print quality ; Confusing CD/DVD printing process

CD/DVD printing is a cool enough feature to compensate for shortcomings in speed and output quality.

Epson Stylus Photo R380 review

The Epson Stylus Photo R380 offers a wide range of project and feature options for the amateur photo enthusiast. At $200, it's more expensive than most standard snapshot printers, but the added money gets you an inkjet printer that prints still images...

Tons of features, including CD/DVD printing and the ability to print stills from digital video; great print quality; fast 4x6 photo prints; includes PictBridge port and memory card slots; individual ink tanks.

Limited paper-handling options; phone support is not toll-free and support hours are limited; text printing could be improved.

The Epson Stylus Photo R380 offers a wealth of fun features and great print quality, making it a smart choice for amateur photo hobbyists.

Epsonâ-'s Stylus Photo R380; Letter-Size Inkjet Prints On CD/DVDs, Too

There are lots of letter-size inkjet printers on the market, but you'd be hard-pressed to find one with this much functionality and at a price of $129.

Great!

If you need a good printer that also prints good photo's then buy this guy. It's nice that it has a 4 in one card reader also when you need it.

Easy to use, install, big bright 3" screen looks almost 640x480 rez, good looking printer, great print rez for the price. This printer is also reasonably fast. True 8.5x11, 8x10, 4x6 border less printing

Do NOT use this printer with FUJIFILM photo paper! The ink just clumps up and does not work. Only use Epson photo paper with this guy (maybe Ilford will work, but search forums online). When printing off a memory card it only gives a low rez preview

Nice printer

You can get a continuous ink system for this that will greatly decrease the expense of ink.

Very nice printer for the price. Print quality is excellent

Ink is very expensive
