cartridge not recognized

This problem is not discussed at Epson website when there are so many echoing voices. This printer has worked so well for me and it is sad to let go for such a simple hardware error.

Great print quality and speed. Enough to satisfy any home user. Ability to print on CDs & ; DVDs. Copying and scanning capability is must have. Cartridge last for long time, if you don't go crazy

Ink cartridge is not recognized. Apparently, this is some kind of hardware problem. Updating driver and software did not work. The printer will display "Ink cartridge is not recognized" upon replacing ink. Nothing seems to work. I might have to return...

Good pics, but not without problems

I also had a warranty issue when I first got it. I went through the service process and finally got it working with a combination of the original and warranty replacement ink cartridges. It took more work than it should have.

The scanner works great, the prints come out lab quality, you can print without a computer

The one I got has always had problems with ink cartridges. It seems like even new cartridges can be hit or miss

Poor Printer

I thought I might save a little dough... I guess not...

The printer was unable to recognize the ink cartridges, although they were the cartridges that shipped with it from Epson! now I am waiting 5 to 7 days for a replacement and had to place a hold on my credit card, (for more than the purchase price),...

Magic INK

It's bulky but it is not a flimsy plastic made as most printers.

Nice black finish printer with flash card reader on the front. Scanner does it's best and can place multiple pictures and scan them individually. Prints nice Quality photo like pictures. Comes with a CD tray to print on printable CDs and DVDs. Card...

No usb cable with the unit so must have one handy before the unit arrives, so don't be surprised. Ink is expensive but what Ink isn't. But for the price I expect the Machine not to run my cartridges dry so fast

EPSON Stylus Photo RX595 C11C693201 Up to 37 ppm 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer - Retail

I have not used this specific printer, but I just want to point out that the software Epson makes to create print-to-CD projects ("Epson PrintCD") is vastly superior to the similar software produced by HP. Epson PrintCD is a bit clunky (especially...

In my personal experience, Epson printers tend to get clogged nozzles a bit more often than other brands. Like most other printer companies, Epson likes to play games with getting you to use more ink than you strictly need to. The image output quality...

Best Printer Under $500

Epson is the best color injet printer on the market and while some are trying, Epson is the King of printing directly to a CD or DVD

Previously owned a RX580. The 595 replaced it. Colors are brilliant, especially on high gloss paper for photos. Compares to prints developed in a photo shop. DVD label graphics are incredible. I have printed over 400 DVD labels in less than 2 years and...

None and don't think I will have any

Worn out CD tray in 2 yrs

Very good printer if you won't be doing many CDs.

Very good quality photo printer. Easy to use. Great for small business to print their own CDs on occassion. Use Waterproof glossy Cds (brand: Taiyo Yuden Watershield) AWESOME

We printed about 100 CDs per year for 2 years and now the CD tray will not pull in CDs anymore, the rollers seem to have worn out. If you plan to print alot of CDs, buy something like the DYMO 1738260 Disc Printer instead and it will last much longer
