Epson Stylus SX215

This printer is a decent all-in-one for under £45, but Epson charges a fair bit for the ink.

Drivers are provided for Windows and OS X and there may be Linux support too, though the link on the Epson site appeared to be down when we tried it. Epson also includes a copy of ABBYY Finereader 6 Sprint OCR software and several of its own utilities,...

Epson Stylus SX215 review

Epson's Stylus SX215 is one of the cheapest MFPs around, but it has a 1?in colour LCD screen along with a scanner, copier and the ability to print from memory cards.

This budget MFP has plenty of features for a low price, but these are offset by frustratingly slow prints and high costs.

Epson Stylus SX215 review

As well as offering printing, scanning and copying functionality, the Epson Stylus SX215 features a four-in-one memory card slot that can be used in conjunction with the 3.8in LCD display to preview and print images.

If you don't mind substituting quality for speed when it comes to draft mode, then the Epson Stylus SX215 is a value for money printer. You'll just have to be prepared to wait a little longer than usual for better quality prints.

Epson Stylus SX215

With prices consistently under a hundred pounds, there are few reasons why you shouldn't own a multi-function device

Unfortunately, it's hard to find an area the SX215 excels in. It's reasonably fast and produces acceptable prints. However, the Canon Pixma MP620 trumps it in every department for a little more

It's not very good

If you're considering buying this printer, DON'T! Yes, it's very cheap, but there are much much better printers on the market at similar price levels. The printing is very slow. When the printing finally kicks in, the page feed is so violent it is...

There are no pros compared to other similar printers

Poor build quality, poor print centering, violent printing, veerryy slooow

really good printer, picture quality is good, even on just plain printer paper, easy to set up but only downfall is that it doesn't come with cable to link it with your computer and doesn't tell u which one you need???
