Epson Stylus SX400 all-in-one printer review

The new Epson Stylus SX400 (and apart from the LCD screen, the otherwise identical SX200 variant) is a stylish and relatively compact all-in-one inkjet printer, scanner and copier. The "cost effective" tag from Epson suits too as the SX200 costs £79.99...

Good photo print quality, good text output, nice scans

Slow set-up and installations, slow print speeds

The SX400 provides a good balance of features and pricing that should make it very appealing to those on a tighter budget and is certainly worth a look

Epson Stylus SX400 review

The Epson Stylus SX400 is a budget multifunction printer, scanner, copier that seems enormous thanks to its height and dark grey finish.

The Epson Stylus SX400 is a great budget all-in-one that produces excellent results with photo prints - as long as you're prepared to wait for them.

Epson Stylus SX400 Inkjet MFP

When the selling point is a ''colour ID'' of differing shades of dark grey and black, innovation has clearly taken a back seat.

While printing isn't as fast as expected, we were happy with text on the default settings, and the colour in casual photos is pleasing. Issues of oversaturation on photos along with darkened scans and copies can be overcome by tweaking settings. This...

Great printer at great price

Bought this some months ago but only now brought it into use when previous printer (HP Deskjet 843C0 ran out of coloured ink - that printer had given over 12 years of good service so it did well. So far, the new printer is very good - good quality...

Thirsty Printer!!!!!

Thirsty Printer!!!!!

This is a very expensive printer to run. It has 4 tiny very expensive cartridges, that all seem to run out together!! The print quality is ok and set up easy. Would not recommend this to anyone!
