Epson Stylus SX525WD Review

 

As the name suggests, the SX525WD is the next step up from the SX425W, and it provides essentially the same set of features – the only major difference being the addition of double-sided printing.

If you're happy to choose a model in the upper price bracket of this group, the Epson Stylus 525 is a great choice. Its price tag is offset by the inclusion of duplex printing and Wi-Fi and by the much faster performance than its peers. Running costs...

Cheap doesn't mean feature-free when it comes to printer-scanners

High-resolution prints and scans; high-speed duplex prints; was easy to set up wireless connection

Plain paper prints were sometimes fuzzy; no separate photo paper tray

Available at under £70 online, this is a good all-in-one, including as it does the duplex printing and wireless connection

This is quite a sleek All In One unit from Epson. As it can be wireless then the ‘lounge police' become less effective as it could live in a cupboard or even behind the sofa as once up and running only a power lead will be needed.
