Epson SureColor P800

The Epson SureColor P800, which can print to a wide variety of paper sizes (including rolls with an optional adapter), is an excellent photo printer for pros and hobbyists alike.

Excellent print quality. Relatively light and compact. Can print on many different types and sizes of paper. Multiple high-quality ink tanks produce deeper blacks and saturated colors.

Paper roll add-on comes without a cutter. Wastes some ink when switching between matte black and glossy papers and back again.

Conclusion The nice thing about machines like the Epson SureColor P800 is that if you're into digital graphics and photography, not only are they excellent tools, but they work so well that they're tremendous fun despite the expense. As we said about...

Epson SureColor P800 Photo Printer

Pros: Vibrant color reproduction; Deep, rich blacks; Roll paper & panoramic printing support; Front-loading fine art media system better than rear-feed method of predecessor.

Versatile media handling. Accepts media up to 1.5mm thick and can print on roll media with the optional roll media attachment. Front-loading fine art papers is much better than the rear-loading mechanism of the 3800/3880 printers. Additional menu...

Epson SureColor P800 Review and Ratings

A replacement for the venerable Stylus Pro 3880, the P800 packs improved inks, a touch screen, a better manual feeder, and the option for roll paper. Deep-pocketed photo pros: Commence slobber.

Class-leading print quality ; Supports cut sheets as large as 17x22 inches ; Uses UltraChrome HD inks for deep blacks and saturated colors ; Redesigned manual-feed tray ; Support for up to 17x120-inch prints with optional roll paper adapter

Wastes some black ink when switching between matte and glossy papers ; Optional roll-paper adapter lacks a cutter

The Epson SureColor P800 is a welcome, long-overdue upgrade to the well-regarded Epson Stylus Pro 3880. With its deeper-looking blacks, better-saturated colors, pleasant-to-use (and far more modern-looking) touch screen, less temperamental manual paper...

Mini Review: Epson SureColor P800

When we reviewed Epson's SureColor P600 with NJ photographer David Patiño, he told us that he wished it was bigger.

With HP having abandoned the market for smaller-format professional photo printers, it’s two-horse race between Canon and Epson for your inkjet printing dollar. Canon only just announced its imagePROGRAF Pro-1000, which competes directly with the...

I would reccommend this product

I had a Epson 3800 before this, which I had for seven years and it was exceptional and did everything asked of it. This is a lovely machine but I do find it clunks and clonks a little when printing, noisier than the 3800. I also feel it is a little...

Disappointing.

I have recently replaced my Epson 3880 with the P800, largely because it would have cost me £540 just to repair the black ink jet. Working on the principle that you get 9 new cartridges full of ink, I decided thus was the better option; no! the...
