Fast, reliable, industry standard

Used non stop daily without a single jam or glitch. Paper loaded is easy. USB interface is a major plus for new machines without a serial port as many serial to usb converters slow things down. Unit fits perfectly on top of our mac mini's running...

I thought these had Ethernet...and I am apparently not the only one ; Epson support is hit or miss. It depends on who you get to talk to

No USB included. Two places in the description indicate USB connectivity, but the printer only comes with a DB25 serial connector. All the interface options listed are provided by extra modules sold separately (not on Newegg), and cost around one third...

The printer is shipped without a CD to perform driver installation. The expectation is that you sign up on their technical support website and download the driver yourself (boo). The documentation is poor, and does not address troubleshooting...
