Epson WorkForce 310

With all-in-one printer vendors competing to offer the most functionality at the lowest price, consumers are left with a difficult shopping decision to make. In a recent review, to the $99 Lexmark Impact S305 scored favorably with us, but we felt...

Best in class print speeds; inexpensive; all-inclusive control panel; five separate ink cartridges.

No Wi-Fi or autoduplexer; underwhelming photo quality.

The Epson WorkForce 310 is a cost-efficient all-in-one printer that gives you five separate ink cartridges with an automatic document feeder and a detailed control panel. Combine those features with its lightning-fast print speeds, and the WorkForce...

Epson Workforce 310 All-In-One Printer

Epson's Workforce 310 color inkjet multifunction printer gives small offices a cheap ($130 at this writing), fast, adequately configured machine. We blanched at its ink prices, though.

The high ink costs make this model less economical than it should be, but at least it's fast.

Epson WorkForce 310 All-in-One

Inexpensive all-in-ones (AIOs) in the Epson WorkForce 310 All-In-One's price class ($129.99 direct, which includes a standard 1-year warranty) have traditionally been aimed primarily at home use. The reason for this is simple, it's hard to build an AIO...

Fast for the price. Ethernet connector. Prints, scans, faxes, even over a network. Standalone copier and fax

Low paper capacity. Although acceptable for most business use, text is relatively low quality, even for an ink jet

Despite stumbling a bit on text quality, the Epson WorkForce 310 All-In-One (AIO) succeeds as a surprisingly capable package at an attractively low price.

Epson WorkForce 310 review – a business printer without Wi-Fi

The Lexmark Impact S305 is an overall good printer with affordable cost of $99, but it is not a true all-in-one without Fax to impress us. Now, the Epson has released a true all-in-one printer – $120 priced Epson WorkForce 310 that can print, scan,...

Five separate ink cartridges; all-inclusive control panel; inexpensive; good printing speeds

Underwhelming picture quality; no auto-duplexer and Wi-Fi

If you can work without Wi-Fi and auto-duplexer and need a fully capable office printer, then buy the Epson WorkForce 310 printer. For Wi-Fi, you can select the Lexmark Impact S305 but it lacks fax.

Epson WorkForce 310

Although it lacks some of the functionality of costlier all-in-one printers, this entry-level model's very good performance and text output put it at the head of its class.

Relatively inexpensive; Ethernet and USB connectivity; excellent interface; easy to operate; low cost per page for monochrome text printing

No Wi-Fi; no automatic duplexing function; slow photo output; noisy in draft mode

Epson’s WorkForce 310 offers great performance and good output that puts it at or near the top of its class. But if you want or need more printing horsepower, such as auto duplexing, true Wi-Fi connectivity, and memory-card slots, you'll have to shell...

"Horrible print quality and bad tech support!"

Save your money and buy some printer that is supported better than by Epson. I have had this printer for shortly over a year and now it is worthless. Don't give yourself the headaches this printer is guaranteed to give you in a short while.

Has many features people are looking for.

Once out of ink, you cannot print anything - even if it isn't using that color! Epson won't support you unless you buy Genuine Epson Ink Cartridges and have them in the printer at that moment in time. Ran me through a lot of troubleshooting for ink smea

Reasons not to buy...let me count the ways!

Reasonably good color representation

Uses ink like a fiend, and replacing the cartridges costs over $70 ; Prints backwards. You have to manually reorder the pages from back to front ; Even with regular use, the ink nozzles clog with maddening frequency ; Takes fourteen years to scan a singl

"'Ink clogs R Us' is Epsons real name"

The poor printing or need for constant cleaning and reprinting makes ownership of this Epson printer a major pain.

Great promise, unrealized reality.

On going ink clogs is the demon that plagues Epson. The workforce 310 is no exception. It is the printers achilles heel.
